I'll never understand people like this. They cause damage to people's property and business in the name of social justice. But in the end they come across as privileged leftists who get brownie points on Reddit.
I agree. In a way they have to confront this because if not the left will only do it more and more because they get praised for it. They can act like it's only the rich or gas guzzling cars but they won't stop if they can get attention if they harass middle class or poorer people.
This is also why it is a good idea to stay away from big urban cities.
