This thread is busy with Pippa every time she streams on a day ending in the letter y. She could stream herself picking her nose and eating it for 3 hours and people here would lap it up. I truly don't understand it.

I don't think it's fair to compare merch like this, especially if its their first. Gura's first birthday merch was pretty basic too. I think agencies would add more diversity to their merch whenever they know that a particular talent or group sells well, and since we're talking about the biggest giant of the VTuber industry, I can see why they'd add a bit more for Gura's merch. I'm sure Hololive and Nijisanji are going to diversify their merch items for more popular and marketable members in the future too. The moment it turns into favoritism for me is when they look like they're REALLY trying hard to jump up certain members' merch for small occasions but leave everyone else the same on bigger ones.

Half of this thread likes to fantasize about Holos, Nijis, other corpos, their favourite indies, etc being here, despite this forum being fairly obscure at the end of the day. Pippa is the one who actually is /here/ so she won over all of those people.

Honestly given how KF members make up a not insignificant portion of her live viewers, this thread more or less functions as a Pippa discussion thread in part. Like the fan Discords and /vt/ threads for various other vtubers.

But for real, kind of strange that Ame isn't involved in this part of the off collab. I guess she left her place to go meet up with the others. I would have thought they'd all do it together.

On /vt/, I guess, but it's been many years since any board on 4chan was actually usable.

Well on that subject. Throwing my 2 cents in merch debate. I post merch with my Holo birthday thoughts because people care about the merch . But no one cares for Niji, because it’s the same for everyone it seems. Voice pack, button, acrylic stand, and keychain

I would not waste more than a single millisecond of brainpower comparing who has the better merch or whatnot until Cover and ANYCOLOR actually take the initiative to make their products more accessible in the West. It is peak Japanese corporate apathy that the Western buying experience is as horrific as it is.
