Not to sound like a partypooper today of all the days, but dont you think that Kanaruru videos are ... way too crowded and chaotic (as in many details & easter eggs in every frame) thats its hard to enjoy it at its fullest?. Even if he focused today on only hololive, it felt that there was too much distractions compared to the regular JP holo concerts.

Maybe its just me that i dont like Kanaruru videos so much, i know he is fast to animate things with the mocap and presets which its awesome, but the abuse of raytracing & nice graphics at the cost of a lower video framerate doesnt sell for me. That and mixing every vtuber in existance on his videos because "Unity" (it feels that its the extreme opposite of tribalism and extremes aint good), like feeding the idea that every corpo & indie vtuber happily hold hands in a circle when the reality its way different (specially with corpos), they just mind their own business.

Yeah, I saw them earlier and thought nothing much of it. She comes across as a bit of a weird-ass so it's not surprising if she'd been with someone who is as well. I've been watching Production Kawaii streamers lately and what surprised me is that Nene is approaching 150k subs last I checked but she's lucky to get maybe 200 viewers a stream. The rest of Kawaii is lucky to get 100.

Is Pippa a flash in the pan? A minor Gura in the small corporate scene? The rest of Phase Connect are also doing better stream viewing numbers compared Kawaii, so I have to wonder if Kawaii subtly botting their talent numbers. They managed to raise the money for a full set of 3D so they have to have an audience but they all just seem absent when the talent goes live.

To be fair, Kiara being Keeki has always been a poorly kept secret, it's like the "secret" that Coco is kson. So there isn't much use commenting on blogs about her real identity when it's always been readily available. I heard someone say that a healthy stream has 1% of total subs as concurrent viewers. There are many things that affect viewership and a shitty timeslot might be one of them. Sometimes people also mass subscribe to channels without actually watching. I'm subbed to most of the PC girls but I barely watch any of them. I watch Lumi on weekends but I don't have the time to watch them all so I just mostly stick to Pippa.

Even now Kiara has 20k viewers (usually she has way less but its a collab). Thats about 1.44%. Pippa had 1.97% at her peak today which is more than healthy even if channel growth is not huge.

I like Nene, I think she is very cute and her streams are adorable, with that being said, there are a lot of cute vtubers around, and someone can probably get their fix somewhere else.
But you cant get a lot of shitposty vtubers, and thats Pippa's unique selling point. But even then if you try too hard you come off as pandering (like Kiki and M4lice)

Off the top of my head I can think of only 4 'Internet savvy' vtubers that dont really pander to that audience.
Pippa, Moriko, Mari and Mint, and all of them have a huge CCV to followers ratio.

Worth noting that CCV is highly based on timeslot. Someone who streams a lot but during low viewership hours is just not going to hit the peak CCV of someone who streams consistently at 9 PM in America.

CCV, subscriber counts, and money earned don't directly correlate. Being very strong in one area usually points to being very strong in the others, but there are plenty of vtubers who routinely beat larger vtubers in live views or CCVs, even within a single agency.
