Because she uses Indonesian more than any ID members, particularly in using local languages/dialects
Her personality and contents fit more with the Indonesian weebs taste, especially her sense of humour
General luck in timing, more people are getting more comfortable with watching streams than before

They most definitely use their real names. Usually by time you're off-collabing you've had time to "practice" your on screen and off screen presence, because imagine if they walk into a mcdonalds and you hear a familiar voice call the chick next to her 'gura' and they'll have to do some amazing oscar worthy deflection to avoid the sweaty fans that'll rush them. It's why whenever they tell stories it's usually "something that happened prior to us actually confirming/showing this off-collab was...(insert story here with their character names.)" A lot of "in-moment" off-collab shit they tend to avoid name calling when possible unless they have to yell for them somewhere/refer to them or responding to chat.

That's the fun part about pandering to lonely people, common sense no longer matters. The only saving grace is Pomu doesn't do GFE and she swore off ASMR, mostly to protect herself overall, since, well, aside Lamy, we've seen what happened every single time a chubba slipping up that does GFE/BFE and ASMR and the fallout after.

Today I randomly remembered that there was a weird vtuber once who streamed with an incredibly basic model on her laptop, and apparently some place like /vt/ took a shine to her and was offering a lot of support, until 'she' hinted and later confirmed she was actually a guy with a really high-pitched voice. It's buried somewhere in this vast thread, anyone know what the fuck I'm talking about? Always wondered if they're still around/anything came of that revelation.

Didn't watch it live because I couldn't give a shit about Mario Kart, but apparently Mio had to end her Mario Kart sit up challenge stream early because it sounded like she farted during one of the courses of sit ups, so she ended it early and privated it so no one could make any clips of her farting lol

Feel a bit bad for her because she says she didn't and didn't like being teased for something she didn't do, but it's still pretty funny either way.

Likely won't be helpful, the only ones I think I remember having any sort of relation or mentions I remember offhand to /here/ types that aren't corpo related I think have been

-Beatani (Presumably not her as pretty sure nobody doubts her being a woman that I know of and I think is generally well liked by everyone)
-Kiki who is a confirmed menhara female last I know and still has a section of /vt/ who is extremely parasocial. Browsing her name in the thread will bring up some shady shit she did somewhere.
-Nadeshiko/Nadechama Ch. started as literally a png iirc for a decent while. I THINK I remember a mention they might be a high pitched boy, but I'm not super familiar with them and could be totally wrong. Almost positive that was one of those random 2 views a certain tako knows and shills once in a while. Currently streaming on twitch as a side note so you could maybe judge yourself. I'm not gonna slap a link or anything because currently they're doing some art that I think recent events would imply won't be appreciated.
-The only other one I can think of offhand as a /vt/ browser was that Lilyhops, whom I'm pretty sure was confirmed a tranny. I forget if their fanbase shrunk in reaction or not.

Pretty sure the only one not still cruising along is Beatani.
