Im wondering what the actual numbers are for detransitioning MTFs. You'll almost find no mentions of it on pro trans platforms like reddit/twitter. There are very few on YouTube.

Interesting fact- eunuchs don't grow bald. I wonder if the combination of puberty blockers and artificial estrogen actually increase hair loss in TIMs. I keep seeing evidence of how these pills actually work against them. Especially when they get fat. Men look more feminine when they are super skinny. Try manorexia.

Interesting. It's horrifying to think all these people are gonna be in power in 15-20 years . Half of gen Z / young Millenials are jaded as fuck, the other half is pumped on neo Marxism, trans rights and victimhood olympics.

Late but... Apparently, this is at Harvard. I don't know if Jazz took a voice class or maybe it's extracurricular, but it gives me a little hope that maybe Jazz will move toward acting/singing/performance for his major. That would be so much better than an idiotic gender studies degree. It would also allow Jazz to focus on something other than gender for once in his life. It might even be somewhat therapeutic after all that's been done to him.
I don't think he's voice major material -- how about learning an actual skill in order to one day earn an actual living in college? -- but it'd be nice if he got into musical theatre or chorus or something as a hobby. Ari was a singer in a band at one time, IIRC.

Male pattern baldness is mediated by DHT. The adrenal glands still make androgens like testosterone and DHT, which is derived from testosterone. Kim started having puberty blockers (likely Lupron) age 12, and then had surgery at 16 so presumably has been off anti-androgens for 13 years. Notably:

The adrenarche (start of the adrenal glands releasing sex hormones) usually comes around age 8 in males and increases through to late puberty. Lupron is used to treat adrenal disease (...in ferrets).
It's possible that administering puberty blockers is messing with the development of the adrenal glands, causing over-expression of androgens (compared to someone castrated before puberty, like with castrati, or after normal puberty, like with late teen/adult transitioners) - and since this wasn't expected, they're not being routinely prescribed anti-androgens. You'd expect the blood work associated with HRT to pick this up, but potentially if they're only testing for testosterone and not DHT it might not get detected because...

This is purely speculative since I'm not an endocrinologist so I don't know if that pathway would apply here. But it would explain why early transitioners like Kim and Jazz are still experiencing pronounced hair loss - prescription of puberty blockers is a relatively new phenomenon. The presumptive lower levels of DHT and the interactions with oestrogen might be delaying the impact.

They say eunuchs don’t go bald but I’m not so sure how the numbers would go if there were enough child eunuchs around in the era of modern record keeping. It’s not like the Ottomans or Imperial Chinese had the Norwood scale to define baldness or any kind of way to survey tens of thousands of eunuchs over a long period of time. I think that if a troon was already predisposed to make pattern baldness, they may slowly go bald due to adrenal DHT. I’ve definitely seen troons who were starting to go bald when they transitioned continue to get worse despite the anti-androgens and being castrated. I’ve also seen troons transition from male pattern balding to female.
There's also the theory that there was societal unease with daycare centers and out of home childcare, increasingly taking the place of stay at home mothers, as women entered the workplace. While daycare and creches were common in communist/Soviet countries where women worked outside the home, the western idea of them was 'leaving children with strangers'.This is a good point. A lot of cults have this problem.
As others have pointed out, child sex abuse is obviously very real, and PTSD is real, but the satanic panic/satanic 'recovered memories' scandal was not. Satanic ritual abuse has been debunked over and over, and the "memories" children recovered of it were discovered to have been unwittingly planted by well-meaning therapists; children have extremely plastic brains and are obviously susceptible to this sort of thing.

She is a nutbar who believes, among other things, that children can "pre-verbally signify" gender identity as early as the age of two, by (among other things), removing barrettes to signify masculinity, or unpinning their diapers to simulate a dress.

These are the kinds of "experts" people are listening to on this issue, and that's why we are going to wind up with a lot of people like Jazz, who are desperately trying to cope in an adult world without ever having developed adult cognition.
There was anxiety about traditional roles changing, and what it might mean. And I think people harbour -feelings- about what women should be doing, and acting like, feel a greater right to comment on it, than they do with men.
The daycare centre in particular, then, became a particular source of anxiety.
Certainly coming out of the '70s too with cults likely played into it more too.

There was a Russian sect that castrated boys (not for the voice of course), they studied them i think right before the WW2 broke out and observed similar things.
I wonder if it's a matter of time before some "expert" decides prepuberty castration for trans children is superior to puberty blockers and starts recommending early childhood ball chopping for boys who prefer Barbie dolls over Lego.

Tbf it all depends on how “far along” he is.
If he had bottom surgery he’s pretty screwed.
But… He can still transition to looking like a man, despite not having a dick, instead of a 6 foot tall obvious dude in a dress.
Mentally it’s way healthier. And you don’t pump your body with hormones.

I really can’t see poor Jaron ever having a normal life.
His formative years being dominated by asspats and performing for the cameras, probably also means little hope of ever having gainful employment.
His “career” will continue to center around being an LGBTQ product: Memoirs, self help books. An occasional mental breakdown so he can have another struggle to detail and write about.
Maybe a weight watchers spokesperson, if he can manage to keep the gunt in check for six months, and cut down on filling the hole inside himself with food.
His formative years being dominated by asspats and performing for the cameras, probably also means little hope of ever having gainful employment.
