It’s always odd to me that Xians seem to believe in such a concept as “holy beliefs.” Funny how you hear so much from them (and most atheists tbf) about beliefs and next to nothing about actions. I know which one matters more.

I am a religious person and I find the most useful and moving knowledge from ancient holy texts and further essays on them, I believe knowledge is like throwing a stone into a lake, the closer to the source the stronger the effects are, till they dissipate away entirely.

However I don’t mind what anyone else chooses to believe or not to believe, I just think by the atheist’s own logic they should be agnostic because they simply don’t know.

I also work in a STEM career and like to learn things. Being religious and being scientific is not mutually exclusive like so many people would have you believe. In my experience the atheists are usually the most scientifically illiterate people around, merely learning talking points and headlines and taking “the science” on faith, which is of course a complete oxymoron.

They also often confuse “progress” with being a linear line of increasing intelligence when it’s usually the opposite, tech is becoming dumbed down so it can be operated intuitively by touch like children, with nobody bothering to understand how it actually works.
