It sucks for him that he's spent such a long time destroying any credibility he has in regards to his motivations. Meaning that he has done nothing but link his enjoyment of a game or if he will continue playing it, and pretty much every other aspect of his job, to how much money it brings in for like a decade now. Where somebody else may seem genuine in acting kind of silly or even being kind of cringe because of their love or nostalgia for something, Phil will just always look phoney and transparent and just wanting to cash in off of it.

He's never given anybody a reason to give his motives the benefit of the doubt, so when he acts like this, yeah, he's always just gonna look cringey and like a fucking clown. Especially when, instead of looking at anybody else being animated or excited over something as being possibly genuine, he's always used the 'childrens entertainer' thing to insult them.

I honestly don't thing there's anything he could do to make me think he genuinely likes something and actually cares about it. That's on him, not me, because what has he ever done but shit on everything and everyone, usually for childish, petty reasons?

Yeah I don't think anyone has an issue with someone genuinely enjoying something but the way he hams it up and wears as much Sonic shit as he can seems so fake. He seems to only be acting so clownish and praising the game so much because he knows there are a few dentheads with disability checks that actually do love the franchise and will pay him for it.

It's similar to how he will take every opportunity he can to shit on Nintendo, but as soon as something new gets released, like Kirby or the Bowser extension SM 3D World, he jumps into his faux-fanboyism and starts rattling off inane bullshit like "Did you know SMB2 in America is really Doki Doki Panic?". Who gives a fuck DSP? Did you know SMB2 sucks and is the worst of the series?

He's just a grifter and the grift is all that matters to him.

An account from 2010 (https://www.youtube.com/user/383KayKay/) that followed Phil on May 23rd of this year. Last favorited video is from 2008, so I assume the 2010 "join" date is either an arbitrary one or represents some kind of compilation of YouTube with Google or something. (I'm DUMMMMMB) Not one chat message either, it seems.

Definitely legit and not at all suspect.

You can set up a bunch of burner accounts, sub them to dspgaming then right before using them just change the name in Youtube studio. I'm guessing that's what this guy did.
