So let's get this straight. One day you find a forum dedicated to making fun of eccentric people with substantial online presence. They make fun of people obsessing over cartoons, of consoomers, of people wearing animal suits and pretending to be animals, of artists producing weird, overly sexualized art, of people discussing their fetishes, you name it.
And you think to yourself: yes, I'm really into some of this stuff. I think it's a great idea to make an account here and talk about those things with this community in an antagonistic manner.

I don't think there's a single instance of him sharing the things he tried to allow people some freedom over on his old website. Which backfired because the child predators that share these specifically-crafted drawings play so many mental gymnastics all the time that they never knew when and where to draw the line. Since they themselves both lie about what reality could possibly be, anime in general, and have to jump through hoops to find the right words to keep other people at ease with what we all know is something harmful to society in their habits and practices. He even said in his time moderating that the same people he would be banning for posting CP were using the same tripcodes as the people posting lolicon.
