The thread where you post your mildly unpopular opinions

I think I may have said this one before, but I just rewatched it, so again:

Holmes and Watson was an excellent comedy
I have to amend this again

That stupid Anchorman movie, the original, that people jerk off to so much.
It sucks.
Holmes and Watson, so scorned in the reviews, is MUCH better than Anchorman, mostly because it's good while Anchorman is barely watchable.

Edit; I'm watching right now, it's not that bad TBH

Anybody still working from home is a lazy piece of shit taking advantage of COVID hysteria. They low key love COVID because it gives them an excuse to be a shut in and accomplish nothing of value to society
It's honestly better for some people to be shut-ins. If you use this site at least semi-regularly, you should already probably know this by now

This. Name one job that contributes to society that can be done from home
Nearly anything that can be done on a computer can be done better without being incessantly distracted by idiots. If the product is objectively measurable and you get paid per unit, if you slack off you don't get paid.

Ethnically, Europeans are just White Americans who speak funny.

I was surprised by how everyone there has a doppelganger in North America. The pudgy ladies of the Center and East could be receptionists in Duluth. The lanky college students of Benelux populate college towns from Berkley to Amherst. The young South European males are just the jocks from my school days. Different cultures will fight sure, but justifying those fights with "my group of light-skinned people is superior to this group of identical light-skinned people"? That's retarded. See: Anglos v. Irish, Germany v. The West

If Hawaii and Puerto Rico decide to leave the United States tomorrow then the only thing I would shed a tear for is the fact that the United States would now be 9931 square miles smaller.
Otherwise I would be fully glad to see those places and people gone and not our problem to deal with anymore.

Unless someone is some sort of deplorable criminal (ie, sex offenders, murderers, what have you), there's no reason not to show someone respect. Even if your views do not align. Of course, this doesn't mean you have to be a doormat, you should still fight for what you think is right. Just treat other people and their ideas with an ounce of respect.

There is no such thing as "toxic masculinity or positive masculinity". Some people are just assholes and being masculine has nothing to do with it.
I think there are extremes of behavior that show a bias of representation between the sexes, but somehow people have managed to take this and run with it so that we're fighting with each other about who the asshole is.

It's healthy to be a little racist and have pride in your own people and country. Because every other ethnicity will mostly not give a shit about your heritage, they will not respect your nation's past, and they will spit on anything you know and love simply because they can and they weren't brought up to have the same affinity with your culture as you. White people are the only race that seems to have this idea that everyone should get along and abandon their nation's pride, heritage, and culture for virtue. They believe that because they are sympathetic to other cultures, they would do the same. But what white people don't realize is that every other race is proud of their history, and simply wishes to extort the kindness of the modern day, dickless (sometimes literally), soulless, self-hating, overly-emotional white man.

While I believe that it is fine to befriend other countries, other "ethnicities", I also believe that nationwide they should be allies, not "friends." Allies who benefit from each other's efforts, not just swoop in to save their country whenever it goes to war with no benefits. If they want to move permanently to our nation, they should have to revoke their own nation's citizenship and recognize the culture of where they now live. They should abide by not just the laws but the social norms of their new home. People who live in a nation should love their nation. Because when you hate your home, when you wipe away the history, when you desecrate your forefathers' hard work, you are left with a breeding ground of selfish, nihilistic, dissidents who have no plan for bettering themselves or their home, because they believe it is all the nation's fault. They believe that if they were born elsewhere, their life would be much better. They abuse their nation's benefits while wishing for it's demise, simultaneously fetishizing other nations as if they would appreciate their residence.

I'm not saying you should love the government, but you should love your nation. You should appreciate the history behind it. You should appreciate the people who built it into what it is.

But sadly, it's too late. America is fated to be a mixing pot until there is no such thing as an "American" anymore. It is corrupted by a government wishing for its destruction, which is fueled by people who don't care.

Their own unnatural bloated sympathy will be their own undoing. They are literal fucking dogs, fawning over anyone who isn't them.

They will create problems so they can use their "solutions". They form cliques of like-minded idiots, then realize that their clique is too popular and divide it into 10 more.

The most they will do is piss and moan about "capitalism" even though America is corporatist.

I fucking hate the average white person.

My bad. Actually, it's all because of the Jews, right?

If I find out someone watches reality tv, I automatically think less of them. I know how fucking snobby that sounds, but I’m being honest. If someone gets genuine pleasure and gets excited to watch garbage like The Kardashians or Honey Boo Boo or whatever the modern equivalent is, I can’t see them as a particularly intelligent person anymore.
