To make it clear, this is Derich when he was like 13-14 years old. Phil basically raised him as his first facebook posts are about Phil's content. You can learn more about Derich in the Derich thread. Highly recommended

The motherfucker really followed up with his sop pigslpanation of the bugged grocery budget and penny pinching mechanics he's facing. with "now I can buy sonic." Lololol u fucking kidney bean. Very relatable. Solid priorities for the impoverished. Living day to day. I get it's a tool for the buisness and it'll certainly the least make back its cost. But the idea of an actual person struggling with their day to day meals and groceries being in question first thought when getting paid is, "now I can afford sonic" is bonkers to me. No mortgage this week. No buisness class bills. No dump fees. No electric bill. Phone for fucks sake you get it etc. No second trip to the grocery store or a fuckinf target. Just Saaaaanic.

I'm nitpicking a bit no doubt but what a weird indivual. The priorities of a man. Didn't even try and hint for some Sony bucks or Microsoft dollars or whatever the fuck currency a fan could give to him. Nah. We just going from penny pitching the essentials my family might die. To "now I can afford sonic." It's beautiful really. To me atleast. He gives no fucks about the plot anymore. He for sure got paid Tuesday lol. Without a doubt.


Following thhaaaaat up with a fucking meltdown about a magical year old federal holiday that just appeared out of nowhere. A holiday where we recognize the end of fucking enslavement. Where your key point is that YOU the 40 fucking year old white man who has sat home and played video games for a fucking decade, didn't get paid you fucking 6k plus check for a months worth of fucking bullshit didn't get paid... amazing. The self awareness as always. Top notch. You don't gotta be supportive of any of this shit what I'm saying is probably what a lot have noticed. That's quite the vile point of few to have. I get if your like an actual blue collar labor with genuine mouths to feed and responsible being a little upset something like that effects there finances, but I feel even like real racists kinda get it ya know. Guess I get paid tomroow, let's go Brandon whatever the fuck you get the point. But Mr Air conditioned 70 degree day blistering hot office didn't get paid for his fucking lasted back breaking toy story playthrough. All because we had shut down the fucking banks for day over some other fellas that didn't get paid a buncha years ago.

Fucking bliss. He's too surreal sometimes. Just the audacity of that string of complaints and concerns. Is both hilarious and a shit head stance, very selfish, no critical thinking, no self awareness. Very cool.

His whole argument for this is that if they hit the $200 it will be both exceedingly rare and won't happen until late in a stream which will reduce the risk of physical danger to his person. He's an asshole though, so I guarantee that if some moron tips him $200 at the very start of a stream, there's zero chance he wears it the entire time, and he'll go into a huge rant about how the nature of tipping is not 'transactional' and how you 'shouldn't expect to get something in return' before telling whoever complains, even if it's the person who paid, to grow up and fuck off.

There is almost a CwC charm to Derich's videos. I get the same sinking feeling in my stomach when I watch either of them try to engage with the internet.

It's a real shame DSP never decided to breed with that potato Khet. Derich would be that child's only friend that would be something to see.

my favourite thing about the "made a decision not to have a child" discussion, is him implying that he could if he wanted to, but actively chose not to, the man who doesn't shower regularly and is confused and perplexed by the accessibility of a chicken wing

are there worse "parents" out there than dsp could ever be, sure, but it's still funny to think about how a man that poorly velcro straps coat racks to the wall could ever deal with anything that doesn't involve an app and a delivery fee
