General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

She probabky got shitcan because she just would not listen to management and it got to be too much. We are also only getting this from Rushia's very biased side of things. She can't seem to let things go and clearly does not think she has done anything wrong. The most we get from her is half-apologies, then it is back to complaining about antis, instead of ignoring them and moving on like she should have to begin with.
eh, she probably still gets a lot of antis she has to take care of herself, unless she hires a manager out of her own pocket. that's always the thing with indies, more freedom but also being more open to attack.
on top of the money she would also need vet anyone delegating responsibility to herself, and we've seen from uto what a shitshow that can be. she literally was one of the biggest vtubers in japan, you can bet she gets all kinds of dregs trying to latch onto her or mess with her.

This statement had approval from Cover Corp, which is their own way of apologizing for their mishap in the situation, this would mean Cover backs everything up 100%. I know I'm not supposed to know everything, but now I'm wondering what exact NDA was violated, despite me knowing the point of the NDA is that no one but the two parties should know. Starting to think how fragile and sensitive VTuber corpo contracts must have if what Rushia did was a violation, yet Moona can just tell people how much Cover Corp takes away from their talents on stream--which is something they mustn't disclose since neither Holo nor Niji members are ever allowed to say the exact numbers-- but barely gets any punishment for it.
there's usually plenty of room for interpretation. sharing your phone extension to the outside could be considered breaking the NDA depending how anal management or your superior wants to be. same way they can willfully ignore stuff.

Regarding approval, probably just for "is this a breach of NDA?". Not necessarily means Cover agree with her statement.

For Mikeneko, the main point probably that she didn't listen to her manager. Possibly multiple times and/or over super important thing(s).

My interpretation is that the key point of her termination is "difficult to manage" and contract violation doesn't necessary lead to termination.

Moona, and also Coco, never share the exact number. They just said "Let's say they take X%".

Imagine if they sold personalized merch like Holo, it's going to boost the sales to stratosphere
Dildos from Vox, Finana's eggs, Nina's shape masturbator. I don't understand why among the merch from VShojo didn't include that products.
Wait is it true that this girl is bora? I don't watch her so i really don't know how she's like.
The voice sound is very similar. And 90k+ subscribers don't come out of nowhere.

The translation of the Rushia situation seems to paint it so that Rushia actually didn't share anything else other than conversations between her and her manager. So basically Cover exaggerated Rushia's termination reasons? If so, that's pretty fucking stupid to fire literally their biggest superchat earner.
Well her actively talking with biggest dramatubers behind the scenes and acting all unhinged might've been enough honestly, axe her before she cause irreparable damage. Before kore kore it was Narukami who mentioned that Rushia spoke to him so that's already a red flag even if they didn't have a history before and it actually seems like she was his source on the whole Mel situation if not pretty much every hololive story he covered with insider information. Initial statement also mentioned something about other talents getting distressed by the whole situation so perhaps there was some internal pressure to actually do something about her shenanigans. Fubuki mentioned people that might dislike her saying that she wished to be with Rushia on stage although that might be just the Japanese way of speaking about sensitive topics.

Corpos are wild, but I guess it's good to see that a MikeNeko x Hololive collab is still possible at this point.

I don't see this as apologizing for anything on Cover's side of things, otherwise I would think they would have agreed to a joint-statement. If MikeNeko's statement is taken at face-value, they just agreed their statement was too vague and it let people's imaginations run wild.

I'd also be very surprised if we ever saw a collab between HL and MikeNeko unless things drastically change on Cover's side. We would almost assuredly see a Kson-HL collab before then. Either way, it will never be the same as it was.

Conclusion for RushiNeko saga?

At least she’s consulting an actual lawyer this time and start acting like an adult. Who will get burn in this “Menhenra strike back” arc? Place your bet
She will no longer be blacklisted by Cover since they managed to come to a favorable conclusion for both parties, but she will never be hired back
which means she is now free to be in Nijisanji.

The not-Rushia statement is what she and Cover agreed she can say, so it has to be a vaguepost. (Like she'd have it any other way.) Nothing new in it, except that the implied company attitude isn't as "professional" as the firing was. (Refusing to explain oneself is the height of current_year professionalism). It has A-Chan's attitude instead of the faceless corporate righteousness of their press releases.

I'm slightly more convinced now that what happened was that Rushia's manager hated her and she knew it, so she thought she was being sabotaged and acted like it. Cover's first statement on the yab—the one that in English read like a yassqween troon wrote it for them—was so mismatched to Rushia's attitude, she felt totally isolated and fled for help.

As A-Chan said, some internal-political change at the company since it got "big" made it so that what Rushia did was a firing offense, when it previously wouldn't have been. We'll never find out exactly what she meant by that. If I were writing the story, Rushia's manager was a sponsor-mandated nepotism hire who's not allowed to be contradicted (idiot daughter of a media CEO or something).

daughter of a media CEO
Reine?

Why would she join another black company who’s responsible for letting major talent like Lulu, Gibara etc. quit while shielding the snitch and the bully because of nepotism and how the CEO sucking too much cock?

RushiNeko will be fine as indies now that she’s not get blacklist and can continue on her side project if she wanted (before getting fired, she also talk about some music collab with EN girls like Calli etc. hope it’s not awkward should it happen as indies but we have Aqua X Mea as a recurring collab anyway)

Nepotism and workplace politics is something had been around since the dawn of time. It happens mostly from middle to upper management layers. Over the year I saw some of my guy who actual work get scapegoat and terminate while the snitch and the shill stay because nepotism even after they committed termination offense like security breach or information leak etc.

Hate the game not the players I guess.

I wonder if A-chan is working on this case or at least put her foot down since as the only few known management personnel she’s in a prime time position and can maneuver between all those work place politicians.

Also relevant, RushiNeko is doing a twitcasting stream. It's one of her usual talking streams so who knows if she brings up the letter.
Commissions vtuber model, proceeds to never use it. No wonder she claimed to be out of money when she was fired from Holo.
Here's a doggo clip in the middle of this RushiNeko story:
Ah, a real hag to admire.
