Much like every other "culture war" issue going on right now, the Left has pushed their side beyond the scope of reason. "Transwomen are women" and "abolish the police" and whatnot. Abortion is the same. Instead of having any sort of reasonable debate about it, they've pushed the narrative that the ONLY possible reason to be anti-abortion is that you have to HATE WOMEN and that abortion is 100% just a "woman making a choice about her body" and nothing else. Yeah the left's number one problems are arrogance and out of touch feed-back looping. The way to get the public to accept such ideas is depoliticizing them to attract moderates and centrists. Knowing that it was going to happen in advance doesn’t make it any less gay. Also, Roe V. Wade goes beyond simple access to abortion - it’s already been discussed at length that in various states, the current abortion rulings don’t even allow for medical interventions in pregnancies that can’t culminate in childbirth and that are infact immediate medical emergencies (such as ectopic pregnancies). It also opens the possibility for any miscarriage to potentially be investigated as a murder if anyone whatsoever expects that it’s self-induced or even that the mother was behaving in a way that unintentionally could have caused a miscarriage (precedents include being a bystander is a nearby shoot-out or attempting suicide, could include even paltry shit like eating deli meat). Expect cases of vindictive scrotums and healthcare staff opportunistically reporting women of all backgrounds and political inclinations of having botched an abortion.

Every woman - even the most committed tradwhore - should understand the drastic and alarming ramifications of this ruling, that the gutting of Roe will fuck them over just as thoroughly as it fucks over the most carefree, sex-having liberal women. As many a twitterfag has reiterated, the cruelty is the point.

No state is going to jail any doctor or person for a necessary medical procedure. An ectopic pregnancy is fatal if untreated and it's not killing the child so much as treating the patient. Like, I don't see how you can even say that. People aren't so dumb they can't tell the difference between a life-saving procedure and one that exists to enble bad decisions on the taxpayers dime.
