Where are you seeing this? I didn't hear anything about the sodomy one.
It's in Thomas's part of the opinion.

Though I'm actually not sure revisiting that one would achieve much, since several other rulings in the years since that one mean that in order to seriously start stripping away LGBT+ rights, the GOP would basically need to nuke the Civil Rights Act. Which... might just be over-reaching a little.

There are existing bans on later term abortions in most places. It's a huge part of why getting them is so difficult and if you're poor you have no choice but to carry your brainless, one eyed, inside-out monstrosity to term.

If you have no car, no money and no access to abortion doctors, then, close your fucking legs.

B-but "muh rape!" Buy a gun and mag-dump into the first shitbag that grabs your ass.

Just imagine. If you're a whore here in any of the big cities of Texas (Austin, DFW, H Town, San Anton) you have to drive 9-12 hours one way to Colorado or New Mexico for your abortion. Because the entire deep south is banning it.

This makes me smile.
With these gas prices. It'd be cheaper to just raise the kid.

No one is interested in returning these issues to the states except Thomas so seethers are just wasting your time with their screeching

Some opinions I have on the SC's decision:

1. Legally, Roe v Wade overrode states rights and rightfully should have been abolished. In general states should be having more control over healthcare. Overturning RvW doesn't ban abortion as anyone with a brain knows, it just defederalizes protection of abortion. Gay marriage is the same deal from what I understand. It overstepped the boundaries of states rights. What people fail to realize is with Roe v Wade and similar decisions like about gay marriage, it was about states rights first and what the Supreme Court decided was unconstitutional. With gay marriage even if it goes back to the states and a state overturns gay marriage, that doesn't endanger a same-sex couple anyways because the Full Faiths and Credit clause and the prohibition of Ex Post Facto laws. Likewise, going back to abortion, a woman would still be able to have an abortion if it is necessary to protect her life because of the 9th and 14th constitution protecting them from laws that deprive them of life. If some law prevents them from abortions needed to save their life that absolutely should go to the supreme court and it should hopefully be overturned.
Yes, thanks to technology. However it still is prohibited. In the cases of Poland and Ireland before it legalized abortion, even though the women had a legal right to one - her life was in danger and the fetus was not viable - they were denied medical care because the life of the fetus was more important.

SCOTUS ruled there is no right to an abortion, so even if they went there for a valid medical condition they would not be heard.
2. Medically, a fetus has its brain and heart develop 3-5 weeks in. The first heartbeat occurs 5 1/2 to 6 weeks in. To Christians life begins at conception. Regardless of either view life starts at the very beginning or early relative to the 40 week gestation period for women. Aborting any later than after the first heartbeat is killing a life. Meanwhile the left has people like the governor of Virginia defending post-birth abortions.
Brain development properly begins at 7-8 weeks. The connectome develops first, but it is not a 'true brain' per se; there is no consciousness. By 10 weeks all neural networks are established. By 17-22 weeks (give or take) consciousness is granted. Therein you could argue the fetus can actually feel pain or is aware it is inside its mothers womb.

As for the heartbeat laws: this goes right back to the brain development thing. It goes off of a heartbeat being life, even when there is not adequate brain activity. Depending on who you ask and what you read, you can read that a heartbeat begins at 22 days after conception or that it isn't a heartbeat at all.

The argument that most women are not aware they are pregnant at 6-8 weeks is valid. That leaves a window of only two weeks. If women live in Texas and Oklahoma they have no hope whatsoever of ending a pregnancy.
3. People claiming Christianity says nothing about abortion except being in support of it are

1) Mostly cherrypicking out of context lines from the Old Testament
2)Are looking from a protestant lens where only scripture matters which is very fallible to headcanon interpretations. It's why you get some baptist churches having tranny drag parades and down the street there is a baptist church with a pastor ranting about how God hates America and all Catholics go to hell.

The Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church, Egyptian Coptic and Ethiopian Tewahedo, and Syriac churches all have documents on the topic of condemning abortions based on the sanctity and miracle of life. This has been a stance since the first century with the Didache. The Bible isn't infallible even for most Christians. That's a dumb protestant invention and Prots are the most liberal on abortion of all as a result.
"You're a living abortion" was a common insult during the Middle Ages. They knew women were getting them but provided they didn't have the physical evidence there was nothing they could do to stop them. This also brings to mind the 'Ensoulment' argument and whether a baby is a living being until a soul enters its body. But that will involve going into the history of pro life arguments.

Plenty of hardcore pro lifers back then candidly left physically deformed babies out to die in the woods. It was a problem in Orthodox Russia under Peter I's reign.
4. The pro-choice side has gone from logical to ritualizing death and murder. I like seeing RvW overturned just to spite them.
I don't, because the women who are in situations they cannot get out of are put at risk, and so are the unwanted kids. The Laundries of staunchly Catholic Ireland and the orphanages of Communist Romania come to mind.
5. It's ironic that the only nation in world history to go full handmaiden's tale when it came to reproductive rights was *drum rolls*

Afghanistan has that. Abortion is banned and women wear the veil. Atwood herself based the book off of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with other inspiration coming from former Communist countries. Nowadays she's trying to wonder why troons hate her despite her wondering why woman was a dirty word. She came out against JKR and now has to lick that boot.

Well that's just based. Pride month has proven that this whole thing was a mistake. And no, I will not bake the cake.
Your choice is just fine with me. That shit does not bother me. What bothers me is that access to necessary medication may be on the chopping block according to Thomas. Hate or disregard whoever you want to, fuck knows that I do.

-Plastics mimicking estrogen
-pesticides mimicking estrogen
-Antidepressants, especially SSRIs lowering peoples sex drives
-birth control affecting women even after they’ve stopped(?)
-Everyone spending too many hours in the workplace, but especially women =no time to date or have kids
-Porn, dating apps, hookup culture
-wage stagnation + high cost of living
-old people living longer, driving up housing costs
-consequences of divorce have gotten worse
-many women conditioned to believe every man is a potential serial killer or rapist
-cost of having a child has gone up
-shrinking middle class; many middle class children are becoming lower class adults with student debt and wagecuck jobs.
-rise of the ultra-wealthy + social media means keeping up with the Joneses is now out of control

All of these need scrutiny, but especially the environmental issues.
Well yeah. I'm pretty sure the America is kinda ficked in the long term because of all these factors, let alone the human race.
Only if it's libs. If it's conservatives, then its the Fall of Man or some shit.
Because despite their undying love of Israel and boomer attitudes towards a lot of things, conservatives generally understand the basics of how a functioning society works. The problem is they don't understand it at a deep enough level to teach future generations why this is important and worth preserving.

Laugh at sluts and dumbasses all you want, but this does suck for people in committed relationships in conservative states.

Then commit to improving blowjob skills.

We are constantly told there's an endless number of ways to have sex, enjoy intimacy, compromise with your partner, explore new sensations, etc. Now there's 50 different "genders" centered around loving each other but not having sex at all. And in the midst of all this supposed variety and creativity, we're supposed to believe couples just can't figure out how to have fun while avoiding a guy ejaculating into a vagina for 10 seconds?

Apparently the sexual revolution wasn't so revolutionary.

You asked, I provided.
I never asked, but only commented. But the fact remains that he is a senatorial candidate. That would be me pulling out a radical senatorial candidate on the left wanting to murder babies. They aren't in any sort of legislatorial power as well

The site is Political. Null is Political. That's my point.

I see a lot of people refering Thomas'' concurring opinion about how Griswold and Obergefell etc should be revisited. That is one justice. Alito's opinion makes it very clear that one of the distnguishing factors that sets Roe and Casey apart is the interest of the unborn child. Preserving life is an elevated state interest. Maybe Alito and crew would revisit that but I doubt it.
I disagree with some of these things as policy matters. None of them are so tortured in supposed "legal reasoning" as Roe and Casey were.

Texas is going to make that a felony soon too so you'd best hurry up and take that trip.

Every western corporation is in on this bullshit. The only difference between Playstation and Xbox's responses is that you get it 2 days later instead.
