I’ll be honest and say that I don’t really give a shit about abortion and I find it pretty funny when religious fruitcakes get all mad and uppity about it, but on the other hand, it’s pretty funny when whores and lefties lose their minds and riots are better than most movies these days, so I’ll always vote pro life.

If this black motherfucker gets on Wickard v. Filburn I'll be his biggest fan.

We aren't lucky enough to live in that blessed timeline.

But I could see some of the reasoning from today's case being brought up when talking about it in the future. I'm actually surprised Thomas' concurrence didn't mention Wickard along with Lawrence and the other cases.

I don't know how to break it to you, but kiwifarms isn't normal. Hell, I hate on the gays here all the time, but despite my distaste for them, I wouldn't ban homosex if I could.
They're gonna burn in hell though.

I doubt states would actually criminalize contraception. That seems over the top and unlike abortion it doesn't end a life. It would be a retarded move of conservatives to do that in the long term.
Personally I'm against the pill, for condoms, and against the government banning things in general. Birth control pills really fuck with women's natural cycles and make them miserable. I know some women think being always kind of miserable is preferable to being find most of the time and then being extra miserable during their periods, but almost every woman I've met who stays on the pill is unhappy and I can't say the same for women that don't stay on the pill. Also, it really hurts their sex life. I don't think we should ban birth control, I think people should recognize the effects it has and let it fall out of favor.

If Republicans did try to ban contraceptives they'd be stepping on a land mine. It wouldn't accomplish anything and the people who use them in their daily lives would be rightly up in arms.

The modern Democratic party has total consensus that healthcare is a private matter that exists between a patient, their employer, and their capacity to earn a wage capable of paying for medical care. In other words as the modern Democratic party has no progressives, they have total agreement on not supporting universal healthcare. With this understood it's so strange to see arguments from Democrats that "abortion is a human right" and that "women deserve access to abortion", even going to extreme lengths arguing it's somewhere in the constitution, all when the entire US medical system is structured on what you can pay. You have no right to any procedure at all if you are poor and have no money. Hundreds of thousands of patients die every year from all sorts of causes they succumbed to because they could not afford treatment. Given that medical care is a private matter in the eye of Democrats, patients can either seek care as much as they can afford it, or they can leave their condition untreated like every other poor person who cannot afford to treat their condition. You can't be a socialist just for abortions. Either you believe that Americans deserve universal access to medical treatment or you don't.
