250$ over 8 hours = 31 dollars a hour. Pretty good take home pay for most people these days. Considering this a home with supposedly two working adults. With the exception of his foolishly large dumb fucking house. He could silll afford his stupid fucking life on 30+ dollars a hour and khet pulling in the bare minimum part time. Hed genuinely be living check to check more than likely, more akin to his exaggerated poverty, but still. In a smaller rental home or apartment his current income would still allow him to be a fucking total jackass with money with little consequence.. When you add in the additional +/- 5000$ a month in youtube payments it really makes you wonder what the fuck kinda world he thinks the rest of us participate in.

Because PSN is made by lame brained morons so he can't just block people who beat him at Street Fighter to prevent them from playing him again like he can on Xbox.

EDIT: Also, I keep seeing him praising the good netcode on the new collection. I'm guessing yesterday was filled with Day 1 Derichs he could dunk on with his basic pattern play?

I watched most of the matches and I think he only found one genuinely experienced player during the stream. A Felicia player who kept rushing him down in VSAV

Wouldn't really matter that much if he wasn't such a intellectual dumbass when it came to finances and also being a mobile game addict, if Phil could somehow keep those two things in check or tried mitigating them, then even if his business came tumbling down, he'd be able walk away from all the rubble and carry with what little fanbase he has left, whether or not he can actually grow an audience anymore is another thing altogether.

Kat must be one of the most useless fucking wives imaginable, not only is it a possibility that she's an addict herself when you consider that Phil needed in flight wifi when he went back to Connecticut because his parents were "dying", but is she truly that ignorant about his spending habits, and can't put two and two together that when Phil is living "pay check to pay check" that something fishy is going on?

He did multiple times today. You have to understand these are not things that are consistent. If he felt he generally won most matches = good netcode. If he felt he generally lost most matches = bad netcode.
It has nothing to do with anything except for what players he encounters. Tonight there were a lot of new players who didn't take out credit card debt to sink a hundred hours into these games to win. Next week when the new players die down, the netcode will be bad when the actually good players are still kicking around on it.

Phail actually likes Mahvel games, or at least he does MvC 2. It used to be his main game before the 4th place at EVO which made him rebrand into a robust old school-style Street Fighter player. The only reason he doesn't like new combo heavy games and calls them dumb games for the kiddies that like flashing lights is because he can't be fucked to learn them so he gets destroyed on week 2 when all the Derichs stop playing the game.


There's nothing wrong with liking games that have simple combos and high base damage like SamSho. Super Turbo's problem is that it has all sorts of other dumb shit like random stun, random damage and it's unbalanced as all hell.

Oh I'm aware Phil "likes" MvC2. But that's again a game you can do ABC super and get some pretty good damage. I was more referring to MvC3 and Infinite. And of course every fighting game is different. Some are combo reliant, some are grounded in footies and punish game. My point is Phil is a hypocrite (to the surprise of no one) and will make the same excuses for every game that doens't play like ST, never bothers to learn combos or even basic movement in other fighters. It's mind boggling for someone who claims to love fighting games.

The Money Buff is on a set timer. When it his 00:00 and it goes away ever fiber in his being wants to get it back no matter what. The best part is this is not the first time he has said that exact phrase. "If it wasn't for X I would only have Y Dollars."

I may be climbing out on a limb here, (no, not a lean in manual ban) but I'm guessing somehow the netcode will degrade today as the narc ego of DSP takes shots from any dedicated snipers or straight up ween trolls with mean screen names/room titles. Basically, I'm sensing salt about to geyser out on stream everywhere today.

AI Vega clapped his ass yesterday, pig consistently lives like it's 2005 and still had 'some' ability to play fighters. As someone mentioned earlier as soon as he gets to bronze he already out of his depth and will get clapped. I think he actually knows this which is why he avoided ranked in Halo like the plague.
