The first Nijien member that I think would to get hit the the MeToo bug, would have been Vox, but after seeing snippets of his creepy ass ASMR streams I'm pretty sure his fans would still love him somehow

I think it hasn't been said enough or at all here: Gura's concert is an absolute miracle in terms of production.

The concert was almost as good in terms of production quality as Hololive with their 3D Vtuber tailored mocap studio. Really kudos and high praise for Kanauru, Ame and everyone involved in that. This has been highlighted not by Kiara herself but by some of her talking points in her Zatsudan from yesterday.


She mentions

  • Ame's 3D suit and hardware weren't at all as good as she thought it would be, specially for dancing. Despite that we could see Gura perform some really cool dance moves. Was this entirely 3D animation? Either way they pulled it off brilliantly despite this.
  • 3 Days were planned for recording but only recorded on the 3rd day. 2 Days were spent setting up and troubleshooting the whole thing. How then did it work out for Gura's concert? Kanauru mentioned 30 hours of no sleep, working straight on it and I don't think he's exaggerating.
  • Ame and Ina were working off their asses on the things mentioned above, on day 2, for 10 hours straight. She thinks Ame was doing some more testing during the night. She was surprised how both kept up being motivated and relaxed while she was losing hairs. Says she's really thankful to them.
  • She said they managed to finish recording her routine and performance and now is hoping for the best in terms of production. My best guess is that Kanauru will do it as well, (idk how tight he is with Kiwawa) but the deadline is less that's 2 weeks and i'm sure that's a frustratingly tight timeline.
  • Confirmed that Smol Kiara's moves were completely 3D animated by Kanauru (She never mentioned Kanauru by name in her Zatsudan as far as I can tell, I skipped most of the idle chit chat, correct me if im wrong coz I'd like to know)

All throughout this talk I can see how Kiara still has some sense of the world revolving around her but it's not as bad as some stuck up bitches out there. She does appreciate all the help she got but loves to emphasize multiple times how hard she worked for this, how tired she was, me this, me that etc etc. It is what it is and I do believe she's slowly growing out of it.

As for Ina and Ame, fucking MVPs.

Was he one of the ones that had a bit of a MeTooing prior to joining Niji? I remember there being some of that for some of the boys but I didn't really care enough about any of them to look it up at the time.

Personally if I had to go with most/least liked per wave, it'd probably go something like:
Lazulight - Pomu (charming, does some creative streams)/Elira/Finana (would anyone think she'd be out of place if she were in Vshojo instead?)

Obsydia - Selen (witty, unique, the one bearable Apex/OW streamer to me)/Rosemi (cute, entertaining, possibly one of the most seiso from any corpo)/Petra (doesn't stand out as well as others in the wave, still good though)

Ethyria - Nina (cut down the honey shit, great talker, very active in setting up off-collabs)/Millie/Enna (both are entertaining and both are great singer's, especially Enna, but Millie feels a notch more creative)/Reimu

Luxiem - Luca (talented, great entertainer)/Vox (witty and insanely charismatic in collabs, but holy shit is he an absolute sperg solo)/Shu (part of NijiEN's core JP-speaking group, can have his great moments)/Ike (more of a comfy streamer which isn't really my vibe for guys)/Mysta (still great, but basically a somewhat less charismatic and more autistic Vox)

Noctyx - Yugo (charismatic, unique audio-based streams, just really needs some gender therapy)/Sonny (JP-speaking crew, good voices, pissed off the TF2 fanbase)/Alban (charming but something's missing from him)/Fulgur (interesting lore sperging, but kinda cringe at times)/Uki (a black hole of entertainment who makes everything worse and whose only character trait seems to be gayness)

Could probably do a full ranking, but that seems like a pretty autistic thing to do, for something nobody would likely care about. If you wanna do it yourself though, look up a character sorter. Here's one for Niji, and here's one for Holo, both might be missing a few though. Couldn't really find anything up-to-date or with multiple corpos.

I mostly just like the girls, except for feesh. Also Millie's just worse Enna, and Nina can get grating, plus I don't consider setting up superspreader events to be a positive. The only boys I particularly like are Vox and Ike but Vox... is Vox, and Ike can't fucking stop responding to superchats mid-gameplay, it makes his streams unwatchable.

Selen's probably my favorite overall, she's always a great time and an incredibly hard worker. My only complaint with her streams is she collabs with a lot of unwatchable Twitch trash, and whenever she's on Twitch herself she has the Ike problem of not shutting the fuck up about donations. Wosemi's a close second, she's just too adorable.

Michael_Navillus - No previous streams. Three YouTube videos with an average of 6 views each. Primarily tweets about politics, VTweeter spotted.
Amkaebby - Streamer for a year technically but took a 6 month break. Very inconsistent. Average CCV of 5.
Queen_Homu - Not a streamer, but the manager of a VTuber group called V-Magic. She's doing such an amazing job that I can't even see who their members are without joining their gay discord.

I left one out, because I wanted to leave the best for last:

SkepticalSnivy - Self-proclaimed "They/Them Icon." Been streaming for 5 years with 4-6 streams per week. Average CCV of 6. Ouch!!

Uki's personality is: "I'm gay haha", so basically corporate Artemis. Yugo is a girl irl, yes. Finana just exists to get groomed by her ryuguards and remaining 2-3 oil barons at this point, she's honestly worthless. Her song is cool though.
