tbh on the female only communities i can say that stcstnr is quite right. After all, many times several women have given me the same piece of advice: Its really hard for a man to be truly misogynistic because nobody hates women more than other women. So it's transphobic for a victim of DA after having fled to the security of a refuge (statistically the most dangerous time) only to find a bloke living in the same building? You do know that marriage afford couples rights and legal responsibilities and it's not just a piece of paper, don't you? Things like being next-of-kin, tax allowances, greater legal protection of shared property and assets, etc.?
