I've always rather hated this "live and let live" philosophy. Especially since some who think this way don't actually abide by it. It all boils down to doing what they want without consequence. I hope so for her sake, she maybe a broken toy at this point in her life but I wouldn't wish anything physical with boogie on my worst enemy.
