I think the biggest give-away that the One Minute Man tips aren't real and are just Phil is because he never thanks 1MM for tipping and he's never stopped mid-stream to give a "1MM, thanks for the constant support d00d" speech. Also he waits until the last possible second to announce 1MM tips. At this point everyone knows 1MM isn't real, even his own fanbase, so I have no idea why he keeps acting like the dude exists.

Except PlanetJeff (likeliest OMM candidate) has had a history of tipping behind the scenes and collaborating (jasper scam) with Phil. And some of his other viewers have done the same, they'll contribute between streams and sometimes he'll mention them and sometimes he won't. Golden Colts is a notable one, he would cheer almost daily and no one really knew how much he cheered.

1) he doesn't go clown mode over 1MM's tips because they're consistently given, so now he just expects them. He feels entitled to them. He does the same with anything he gets consistently.

2) he waits until the last possible second to announce them because he wants to get as much support as he can by acting like he has less tips than he does.

It's going to be fucking amazing to see him go back to a game he absolutely demolished and buried. Especially cause he's been hyping up this new collection for like 3+(?) months.

At least he has plenty of experience being a spineless parasite with no conviction. It'll also be a good opportunity to get back into form for when he goes back to Twitch.

Honestly, Phil should just play every new-release fighting game. Shit, even if it's barely a fighting game. It'd be an effective way of getting more money from Jaxx after that selfish son of a bitch started withholding tips.

I have no idea why people are so fixated on this.
There's absolutely no evidence to suggest Phil is fake tipping himself.
Since the earliest iterations of people livestreaming their lives or gaming on the internet there have been whales donating way more money to streamers than they reasonably should.
For over a decade Phil has been begging for money and whining nearly every single day to his audience and time and time again whales have stepped up and donated large sums of money to try to bail him out.
Sure, it's strange that 1MM/planetjeff tips 25 dollars every single day stream but planetjeff could just have his account set to direct deposit at the same time everyday or donate a lump sum every month that Phil spreads out and adds to his tips counter every stream.

When Phil talks about 'Mentally ill detractors making up conspiracy theories about me' he means things like 'I tip myself'. It's proving his point.

Jaxx tipped $1000 shortly after talking about how he was saving up to buy a car. He works at a call center. He's way past helping.

This is my first time seeing him play Dark Stalkers; did Phil not configure shit properly, or did Capcom do their usual lazy shit and not use any of the translated material and just port the Japanese version?
