The issue is that you're still taking outliers to try and represent the general attitude of a population - when most people talk about "women hating other women" it's more about the general experience that a lot of women seem to have with in-group females harshly judging other females that aren't in the group. Men don't tend to be as harsh with each other in that sense that women can be (which is why the casual female cruelty and judgements fly right over MtFs heads and they take it as ~affirmation~).
