The 1MM tips are most likely real. It's PlanetJeff, the dude with the dead wife and his daily stipend to Phil. He used to be active in chat but isn't any more, because ... it's an ego shield. No more single digit tip streams, ever.

EDIT: Eh, 1MM being Phil... I would deem it implausible but you know, it's not 100% impossible. I think it's just PlanetJeff/Bobbajo/Whatever he's called nowadays. True, we don't have a smoking gun but we have plenty of circumstancial evidence.

There is zero reason Jeff couldn't come up with an alt name in youtube and be more active in chat again like he was pre-doxing on Twitch for the last year too. The formulation of this question isn't "Is DSP actually 1MM," like some deride it as being framed in the thread, the question is literally, "What is 1MM true identity behind da scenes." When you keep that framing of the question in mind, you can admit the answer is you don't know for sure, but there are likely suspects which include both Jeff Anderson and Phil Burnell as the answer, with odds of which one being the correct one being in a relation to the other. So when that's what you're asking, it's a likelihood, that yes, Jeff is more likely the correct answer than Phil, but it's not some runaway in that ratio of likelihood to each other, much closer to 55/45 range respectively than 90/10, Jeff/Phil. At least with the evidence collected to this point.

1. Why would Phil tip himself the exact same amount even on days where it's counterproductive to do so, like tipping $25 to push himself over the edge of a tips goal, instead of $5-10 to get it close enough to incentivize some actual whales to tip over the threshold.

2. Why would he tip himself $25 even on days when he's already well over every single tips goal?

3. These tips aren't even going through streamlabs. We have no way to verify the amounts Phil claims to be receiving. If he were fake-tipping himself, he could easily change it up to suit the needs of any particular slow day if he really needed to.

It's not even a 55/45 probability that it's a real person, it's literally 90/10. There's just no reason for the tips to be so static and consistent. It does nothing positive for him to lie about receiving another $25 tip on days when he's already received $150+.

If Phil has some whale with nothing else to do but wait for an un-scheduled break to tip everyday, I feel sorry for them. Otherwise the tips are fake or someone has an auto deposit setup on the regular and Phil chooses when to add to the tips goal. Any other contribution done outside of tips isn't counted, but Phil insist on counting these from 1MM and letting everyone know.

Phil completely exceeding my expectations once again. I thought that he'd go back on his usual excuses about lheg, drahpped inputs etc. on week 2 when all the scrubs leave not on day 2, but this collection is the definition of a fighting game that's Dead on Arrival, so the scrubs left on day 1 rather than week 1 and all it is now is people who beat him
I'm sure the sub $60 pittance he got on each stream isn't helping him in his enjoyment of this collection either.

I think he doesn't "forget" for a couple of reasons. 1) He added it so consistently that people now ask about it every time. 2) Phil adds the $25 to assuage his ego so he can see a bigger tip number, especially now that it's clear that 1MM/Jeff's tip is the biggest one given on pretty much every stream.

Jeff was never active in Phil's chat much, and he never joined in the sub bombs. I think he doesn't even watch most streams. Back in the day, he'd show up like a few times per month and drop a huge tip every time while Phil's face lit up like seeing a new Hulk Hogan jpeg.

This is the content that I really miss from Phil. I regularly watch EvilAJ’s 2017 Super Turbo of him hounding down the pig in the Switch version of this game. That was either right after Leanna left or when they were just about to break up and Phil was extra sensitive; just, the levels of salt were *chef’s kiss.*

Modern Phil is so unbelievably sheltered and boring in comparison. He’s become so blasé about everything; he doesn’t take risks anymore, he’s neutered himself and has forbidden himself to do any kind of the shitty edgy humor that he loves because of “muh wife,” he’s become an even whimpier version of himself when he was already a massive pussy to begin with.
