The “article” itself is far from being an article and is partly why I hate modern journalists. As an example, I looked up Beau Brummel (historical figure) for more detailed insight about him, the first article is a pretentious tearing down and generalisation hit piece on men and how this random influential person was not influential and a pig yadda yadda. I’m fed up of the same self aggrandising tone that these “journalists” have, they’re not interested in reporting what people care about/ staying relevant to a topic but simply choosing subjects that fit with a personal agenda or taking a historical person/event and making a smug hit piece. Taylor Lorenz seems to embody most of this issue and is a testament that modern journalism is dead.

Also, I think everyone agrees the article, the journalist who wrote it, and the subject, are terrible. Maybe focus on that instead of whatever narrative you've cooked up in your head to start shit about none of those things.
