Because church-going is trendy for some faggots and leaders of each denomination became extremely lax in making sure people understood the bible and were devoted to its teachings. You can likely count the number of churches that are committed to biblical truth these days on one hand. Modern christianity is a joke.

You're making a moral argument not a legal or constitutional one. Avoid subjective morality altogether by defining marriage as what it fundamentally is, a financial contract.

This is why historically the only women with the franchise were those who had demonstrated themselves to be accountable through land ownership and investment in growing society, instead of just being the beneficiary of its fruits.

For some reason the look on the face of the woman in the bottom left at the beginning disgusts me. Not because I'm pro-choice/pro-life, but because the war is not yet won and they are already celebrating.
They will forget about this in a few months is my guess.

I'm making both. Governments have always been able to prohibit or regualte certain contracts as a legal matter, though the rationale for doing so is for moral considerations, public good etc.

Maybe it's a regional thing, but all the protestant churches I've ever been to are pretty based.

They make a very clear distinction between being of the world and being of Christ - it's one of their primary ideological concepts.

Like others have eluded to if Americans wants to retain civil liberties, and what the ever changing idea of personal rights it will always have to come back to an constitutional amendment.

Not a law but an amendment cementing the right.

Be it’s same sex marriage
Abortive rights.

Or what ever new hot take comes out in the years to come.

Be it like in bicentennial man where a robot is recognized as human and marries a biological human.

Or in Batman beyond where people splice themselves with animal DNA to be recognized as having that right to do so and still be considered human.

Its funny because Weed is on a trend towards legalization, and realists on both sides admit it will likely be legal in most or all states (if not outright at the federal level) within 25 years or so. Right now abortion is on the same standing as weed, its not a fucking protected or enshrined right but there is nothing stopping it from becoming a widely legalized action.

I wonder if there will be some hard-right pushback in various EU countries due to the drag/pride bullshit that's being pushed there. For example, gender theory has invaded Austrian politics, drag queens shaking their asses at children, pedophiles are in school board positions. The regular people are enraged.

Then there are also many of those countries like the Czech Republic, which have become a hunting ground for gay pedophiles seeking young boys. I'm wondering when the normal people in that country will just get fed up.

I'm waiting for Ukranian refugee kids to suddenly go public about being molested by Austrian men, who are given extremely light sentences when caught. It seems pederasty is completely acceptable among the wealthy elite in Austrian society, I'm SURE they are predating on desperate Ukrainian boys and are luring poor women with children into their homes for that purpose. The laws there make it easy for wealthy pedophiles to shut people up for "libel", so even if you are telling the truth, you can only risk doing so if you have an equal amount of wealth at your disposal. I've already seen posts from rich Austrian fags being offended by women with children for silently leaving their homes after they've been invited in as a "refuge space". It's as if these elite fags feel that the slightest homophobia is a much bigger problem than those problems these Ukranian families face- complete loss of home, property, half their living relatives dead, etc.. I'm sure this phenomenon is happening elsewhere in the EU.

When you start messing with kids, things get ugly.

I'm probably being overly optimistic, though.
