I don't get it, its not their country, why are they projecting themselves and acting like every country has to follow what their country do and cannot deviate whatsoever
Leaf inferiority complex.
By far the best part of this melt down before everyone realizes their state can just man up and legalize abortion is the scalding hot takes people have. This is quickly becoming Liberal QAnon shit.

Conservatives: we don't want to murder babies. We think unborn fetus are babies and so we don't want you to murder them.

Liberal twitter: Making it harder to kill babies is a secret plan by the fascist government to increase the number of black babies born into low income families to create even worse living conditions for black families with too many children so that those children who don't have father figures because their fathers are criminals grow up to be criminals and then go to jail (after knocking up more black women) to provide slave labor for white people.

Like niggers do you think we have sweatshops of black child criminals making us Nikes and Playstations?

This immense big brain 27D chess to explain why they HAVE to be able to murder babies is somehow much more realistic than just fixing your crime ridden ghetto baby daddy in jail communities so that kids grow up to not be getting shot while gangbanging at 14.

The other hot take I saw was that Republicans want more black babies because single mothers have a harder time going to vote, which doesn't even deserve a response.
It's the consequence of having several generations of people that simply don't understand how our actual system of government works, either because they weren't properly educated in civics or because they're too stupid. As a result, they have an extremely childish outlook about both how our government should work and about what their political opponents believe, and it leaves them looking for a big daddy figure to impose a one size fits all solution to whatever their particular bugaboo is.
I enjoyed Null's rundown about monarchies etc a couple pages back. So basically we're entering the anarchy and waiting for the One True Chad to lead us out of it and into a glorious new era of peace. Who will fulfill the prophecy and be the TRUE AND HONEST CHAD we all deserve?

THUNDERCOCKS RISE UP
Please no. As interesting as Null's rundown was, it's also the last thing you would want. It's bringing exactly the kind of dumb one size fits all regime and giving exactly the type of defective ignorant citizen I just described above exactly what they want.

The best chance that ever had of happening was with the Civil War, and that was squashed more than a century ago. You have much less of a chance of it happening now, especially now that the Bill of Rights was just upheld in two separate occasions at once in this week. The left don't even have a singular issue to unite them all against, which was Donald Trump, the issue of abortion has just been decentralized. What does a New Yorker care that you can't get an abortion in Texas?

If anything, the 50 state system serves everyone better than a centralized system ever could, if one state falls into miserable failure or totalitarianism, you can always vote with your residency and just flee to a different state, causing the shitty state to hemorrhage in brain drain, while simultaneously keeping the migration within the nation itself. It's essentially a system of fail-safes, which is the whole point of having decentralization.

I really don't like this. With child on her shoulder as well the image really invokes a sense of impending doom. On a slightly less disturbing topic, what are the arguments for and against the constitutionality of punishing people who cross state lines to get abortions? It makes sense that they can't based on how jurisdiction normally works, but you might be able to argue that the intent and part of the travel occur while in the home state, and that's what's being punished.

Legitimate question to the leftists on here who are upset: do you actually want Joe and Kamala focused on abortion considering their track record on everything else? This picture summarizes the entire administration “we’re monitoring the situation.”

Uh oh are they bringing back the Gorilla Channel storyline?

Is it really a bad thing that there are consequences for making bad choices? Like is society a worse place if hookup culture dies? Plus it’s not like birth control isn’t allowed now.
I see it as a net zeroish thing. I see it as good that there will be no more hookup culture (in about a couple years) if laws are extended to making removal of a zygote forbidden. At the same time, for at least the first year there's gonna be a bit of an overflow of kids that may or may not be able to be supported by the adoption system. No one can really know what their lives are gonna be like, but it will be good that they could possibly not grow with hookup culture.

Claiming "I'm Press!" is a common tactic with the ANTIFA/Black Bloc faggots, lets them stick around and record clips for promotional and propaganda purposes as well as cover to join in on the brick throwing when no one is looking. Good on LAPD for not putting up with the bullshit.
The LAPD was a rare spot of competency during the 2020 riots, good to see they're sticking to form.

Hopefully we see more like this case, considering what triggered the current unrest it would be poetic.

It's depressing to think the reason dictatorial strongman-style government is so common and what we tend to regress toward is probably because it's what the average moron is most capable of understanding.

the oldest generation of people alive right now were born during FDR's 12 year long presidency. the one where he created a big daddy government that imposed drastic changes to american life with a one-size-fits-all solution. and then we won world war 2. like im not saying this to raise any other point than the baby boomers generally think the problem in society right is who's in charge of the government and millenials think the same thing about their ability to get laid and it's not just because they were raised by televisions

>Detroit
Yes, I'm going to blame it on being a libshit jurisdiction, because it is. There are on the order of 1 million defensive gun uses per year in the US. A disproportionate amount of those are against black people. Do the math. Just because its not on the tee vee doesn't mean it isn't real.

It wasn't even near Detroit. Orion Township is 89% white, all the township trustees are Republicans, and their county commissioner is a Republican. The county leans blue but has a Republican sheriff.

Every time you point a gun at someone you're using deadly force, and a prosecutor will put at least some thought into whether or not you should go to prison. If there's video and you don't come off as a perfectly innocent victim, it's more likely you'll be charged. This lady was followed, threatened, and they boxed her vehicle in (the mother triggered the automatic brakes so the vehicle couldn't move). But the bad guys were taking the video, so it just shows a panicking white woman pointing a Hellcat at a black woman. Not a video you want to be in in 2020.

Bread and Circuses is a proven way to keep the proles in line.

But in case you haven't noticed, the bread is getting more expensive, and the circuses are becoming less and less entertaining.

Everything is dirty, gritty, ugly, unnecessarily POC, LGBTQ, with effeminate men and stronk woman. Oh and it's got to be complicated to, like the ugly monsters are really good and misunderstood and the good looking people are evil and vain.

Gone are the days where you're Sir Soon to Be Chad off to rescue the Aryan Princess of the Tower from some douchebag Wizard or jealous Witch. No. Now you're Bland Protagonist Zero who needs to save the entire United States from some White dude with a British/German/Russian accent you're aided by a sassy Black woman who is also a science genius, a butch White woman who swears like a sailor, and a nerdy token other POC man who is submissive to women at all times.

Television is unbearably full of the above tropes and Triple A games are not too far behind. I guess that's why Elden Ring is so popular, you just get a nice fantasy adventure story, albeit gritty, but normal enough.

I'm not sure if it's an indictment against me or against society that the only non-internet produced television I can stomach these days are certain animes. I'm no weeb, but at least they sometimes produce something that I wouldn't be embarrassed to show my grandfather if he was still alive God rest his soul. He'd at least have liked Death Note.

But yet, nothing on abolishing copyright law.
Copyright has been the weapon of choice for narcissists with an axe to grind for a while now, and creatives seem to never use it (except when the industry is in danger of collapse).

Nature vs Nurture. In Medieval Europe, most people were peasants. Some were higher up and were soldiers, artisans or merchants. Others were even more specialized like Falconers or Doctors. Then of course there was the nobles all the way up to the head King himself.

People are surprised constantly by how sheepish the masses are, when they have the genetics of peasants. All they want to do is wake up, tend their land, get respect for it, be fed, be entertained, get laid and go to bed. When they're told conflicting stories on what all that entails they get frustrated which causes a backlash. Some King Daddy coming in telling them to follow him and it will be easy and attainable, and they will switch on a dime.

America could become a dictatorship tomorrow, and a happy one at that, if some tough dude defeated D.C. and held a Roman-era Triumph where people were given 50k each as a result with the same purchasing power then started banning all the shit they hate and made life livable again. Most Americans opinions of dictators are of media inventions or Communist ones, you get a Julius Caesar in there and it will be all "Hail to the King".

Such is the nature of major democracies. Republic - Oligarchy - Caesar - King.

That's just my theory at least.
