In Globyn's initial write-up on Luna's condition (soon after her birth) they were open about her not having much time left. Robyn said Luna was born with a condition that would kill her and that doctors were trying to figure out what was going on. She also stated that the goal wasn't to try and keep her alive but to keep her comfortable until she passed. It was woo-adjacent but sounded like a mostly sane person wrote it.
And then...all this happened.
I wonder if what happened was that between that blog post ("our baby has a terrible condition but we'll love her and keep her comfortable until she passes") and losing her marbles ("I am communicating with my magic invincible waterbrain child"), was that Robyn was further questioned by doctors and eventually informed that it was her fault and it drove her completely over the edge.

From what I remember she "communicated" with her children before conception and knows there are 3 floating in the ether for her to mess up. So I don't think she's ever been playing with a full deck. It's just now it is being magnified because she found a way to profit off of it with money and attention. She was all for letting luna go until she got attention and free goods/services. She knew from very early on that it was her fault. I think the change is more being told nothing she has done worked and Luna is dying.
Hell both theories can be true. Every bad news she gets is met with a bigger slide into woo. I agree completely that she has gotten worse.

There's clearly a filter but it isn't named on the video. So she filmed it with that tan filter then added more on top of it and you can still see the discoloration. It must be horrific in person.

It was literally the feeding tube. If you go back and look carefully you can clearly pinpoint that before the feeding tube Robyn was a lot more open to doctor suggestions and realistic about Luna's condition- not to say she wasn't wacky and wooy and arrogant at all then, she totally was. But after the feeding tube was installed and Luna was pulled back from death by starvation, Robyn went off the deep end and shut down on reality hard. I 100% think that Luna's skeleton period was due to her condition, I would not be suprised at all if doctors were slow in placing the feeding tube both because they thought Luna would die from the pressure in her brain before she actually staved and because, well, the whole point of hospice is to die, and I think it was only placed at the insistance of Robyn and Glenn. In think that the intense period of distress at Luna's condition combined with her improvement with the tube pretty much broke any reason or sense Robyn had left and she delved deep into denialist delusions about how Luna could totally regrow her brain and if only these stupid doctors would listen to Robyn and do what she says. Ultimately she's chasing that same intense recovery that Luna's weight had after the tube was place but for Luna's brain, but she's never going to get it.

Fucking hell, why do crunchies love watching their kids suffer so much? These women are ten a penny. Fevers? Yes I know they serve a purpose, but if you’ve ever watched in horror as your child’s temp starts to rise way before their next scheduled dose of Tylenol, you know how insane Robyn is. Fevers make you feel terrible.

I’ve also seen women online say they refuse to treat teething pain and it’s nothing that can’t be distracted away with a sing-song or waving some toys around.

People who need them, and who have relatively normal lives (and head sizes) thanks to them, often have to have several surgeries over their lifetime to keep fluid draining, so it’s pretty common for someone like Lina to need a replacement shunt. What isn’t common is that Luna doesn’t seem to see real doctors anymore. Chiros and PT doesn’t count. If she doesn’t have a neurologist checking on her head every few months they probably wouldn’t catch anything like this till it’s too late, poor kid.
