It is, functionally, just a walking simulator, but the myriad of ways you 'play' the game and there are NO guide rails (except the one time after you unplug the phone where that's the whole joke) would be amazing. He played it back in 2013, I'm surprised he didn't bother playing the Ultra Deluxe version. Knowing how he is nowadays, he most certainly wouldn't appreciate it, especially considering the amount of effort they've put into it.

That was added in the 2013 standalone version(mod version came out in 2011, I believe). The Ultra Deluxe version adds much more.

You would think that the dents would catch on the multiple times that Phil has done this before, but I guess "slow learner" really does apply here.

He discounted suggestions based on personal preference. I can somewhat understand to have rules in place like "no MMOs" for practical reasons (not interested in subscriptioj based games) but he discounted a lot of things due to games being too similar to something he was already doing or just because it wouldn't generate revenue.
