And reply bug but I thought the welfare queens was a thing of third world countries but what you guys said is word by word what we had here and connected to the rise of the communist we all love to hate, problem is during the last democracy the children of those queens became a pest and one of the main issues we had was rampant crime that came from these favelas (cerros in our language) the congress, presidency and several governor stablished a under the table deal to solve the problem by going full Robocop on their asses using extermination squads

Thankfully the welfare queens disappeared when the gibs went byebye, they are now mostly being a plague trying to find husbands in another countries because they never bothered to get a education or marketable skills

If you want to see how bad is letting that people breed unchecked, argentina was going in a path of recovery after years of communism of the kichner but when the gibs had to go to save money the ungrateful bitches voted commie again and are worse than before

I can't wait until other states follow the lead of Texas and start enacting electoral collages at the state level. If all the states did this, they'd never be able to "fortify" another election. Oh, Houston "mysteriously" discovered a billion votes for Biden? So sorry, Houston's maximum contribution to the overall state vote is capped at 3%.

Obvious Macron deliberately doing this in front of journalists in order to put pressure on Biden. Macron does not make mistakes like that.
But what can Biden do?
If he does a 180 and goes drill-drill-drill-baby for domestic production he will royally piss-off the far-left flank. That could easily be the trigger for a full all-out public slug-fest with the far-left just 4-5 months before the important midterms.

My bet is his handlers will think that a little higher gas prices can be blamed on Putin and will be less damaging to them than a full all-out war with the far-left.

Turns out the Arabs aren't completely stupid - Spend years screeching about how your going to absolutely murder fossil fuels and move everyone off them, and the Arab oil states redouble their efforts to invest their oil profits in anything other than more drilling capacity. They were already doing so (Whether it'll be successful is another story, one of stupid cities of glass in the middle of deserts) and I'm sure the current administration policy just reinforced their direction.

I think at this point they're just hoping beyond hope that their voter losses become disenfranchised and bail entirely, instead of swapping to voting for republicans. There's some real last stand of Berlin energy from the involved parties, with the leadership either being deluded entirely (Just buy a Tesla) or fucking off, while the rank and file are growing increasingly angry and desperate, and just want their leaders to do something before it all comes crumbling down.

I still don't get how this administration thinks they'll be able to convince countries to willingly leave money on the table by pumping more oil. It's literally not in these countries' best interests to reduce the price unless you're giving them a guaranteed incentive now other than "please help me, I'll suck your dick".

Biden can't do shit. Even if he lets companies start getting leases to drill and gives them billions or trillions to get immediate results, it won't happen over night. The dems are fuck for midterms, baring a mircale from God. The best he can hope for is a reprisal of gas prices in summer 2023 at the earliest if they started tomorrow. Even if he starts giving out leases tomorrow morning, the Gas companies are already done drilling. They're not gonna Trust biden. And Trump or whoever comes in afterwards is gonna have to move heaven and earth to get them to resume.

Boom. Instant bump in approval ratings. Instant votes in the upcoming midterms. Lower energy prices, more jobs, 4 more years in the Oval Office banging secretaries.

At this point they just fucked up, gas is their biggest grief and tool to beat the economy with, if nobody else is willing to trade them to make up the deficit caused by their insane policies they literally have no other option but to produce it locally and open up oil again, it seems they where really relying on everyone obeying like vassal states to US demand but they've done fucked up and the Saudis ain't taking no shit anymore because they know they have the biggest bargaining chip.
The democrats really went up and completely fucked the US hegemony
