Whenever Phil has a stressful day, he seems to adopt new comfort phrases. Today it was, "on the internet". In his Keemstar rant, he says "on the internet" 5-6 times. You can tell it's a symptom of his anxiety/autism because he tosses it in when it just doesn't make sense. "Keemstar insulted me, on the internet". Why would he have to clarify, no one thinks Keemstar traveled to Washington to insult Phil at his home.

He also did it during his beg this afternoon, saying he needs support because this is what he does, "I get tips and support from you guys, on the internet. I make content on the internet." It's such a bizarre thing to say but I think a lot of his Phil-isms are like this, they're just weird phrases he clings to like a safety blanket. Most likely a part of his desire to appear well-spoken and having phrases to toss in and build up his sentences must bring his ego comfort.

The way he phrases it is so cumbersome. "Make a lot of support". It's such a deliberate and obvious manipulation that he is using solely with the intent of taking money from people who are genuinely disabled.

I don't know if I would call what Phil had intelligence. Like he uses being his school's valedictorian as a prove of intelligence. However plenty of idiots can get good grades especially in K through 12th grade because a lot of school doesn't require critical thinking or problem solving.

Which shows why video games and
life in general is so hard for him. It requires thinking through problems and at times trying new things to find a solution. Phil isn't capable of that kind of critical thinking if he even thinks at all.

Yep, this is why every time he correlates a single instance where he gets a lot of money with some specific action or behavior on his part, he takes what he did and immediately drives it into the ground expecting the same result as the first time only to end up confused as to why it didn't. He makes completely erratic and impulsive decisions trying to bring in as much money as he can in as short a time possible, because his whole life is about impulsive and immediate consumption. He can't think logically or purposefully enough about things to consider the effects of a decision beyond the next 5 minutes.

I think everyone here can agree that Keem is a douche of the highest degree. Nobody should envy him, but he has undeniably made a successful career off of his role.

The same could be said for DSP I guess, if you just go by the numbers. But Keem has easily done a far better job of maneuvering himself into new opportunities and audiences. Now, while many would hate doing what he does, even for his paycheck, he is the perfect person for the role and genuinely enjoys that spot it seems.

DSP on the other hand…well, couldn’t be happier..

My only takeaway from this crossover episode was DSP stating that Keem has a far worse reputation than he does. Brother, I hate to be the bearer of bad news.. but there’s a reason you, wings, and Boogie are always lumped into the same group. And DSP is the worst of all by far imo

The whole thing is really neat, because it puts Phil in a difficult position: Piss of the wheelchair by putting a stop to it or going grudgingly along with it. If Phil had any business sense he'd stop it ofc ("Hey I made a private video for you, it doesn't mean you own my likeness or brand, if anyone is going to upload this it's meeee, reeeee"), but that would be off-brand too. I disagree. It would be the first "mature" thing Phil had actually done with his life. To put his ego aside and swallow his pride and take an opportunity to actually do some work for a decent amount of money.

But Phil is immature and too much of a narcissist to take advantage of this opportunity.

Bear in mind the 50k was just a sign on bonus. I'd imagine there would be a cut of the marketing/promo/views along the way. It actually seems like a legit opportunity.

If Phil were smart he would call or message Keem and apologize and say "Dan, I'm sorry. I lost my cool and got worked up because I misunderstood the situation - can we chat more about the opportunity?"

But Phil isn't smart so...

If the podcast idea is Phil, Boogie and Wings, and he accepted the money to do it, he'd be admitting he belongs with those fat retards. That's all I meant. I agree it'd be smart to take the money.
