Melody got her start as a vtuber on Chaturbate before she started on twitch and still streams there. I don't know if it dodged the purge, but the most likely candidate for her roomate had some stuff up on pornhub as well.

As for Vshojo, they all had their own viewerbases before Vshojo was made, even Froot, who wasn't even a vtuber then and was just an art streamer.

And it's a different kind of audience. Just looking at Gura's birthday concert it has already more views than Iroha's 3D debut although she had double the amount of live viewers. A lot of people shifted from live viewing to vod viewing.

I still find it sounding very generic. But, I agree that it at least flows somewhat better than her previous English releases. If you played this for me and didn't tell me it was IRyS I'd probably just tell you to change the station. This is coming from a huge IRyS fan.

Love the weird girl who doesn't know how to fist bump and her karaoke and I'm meh on the professional track releases.

I still like Here comes hope though.

Also lets not forget that youtube supposidly doesn't count viewers with adblockers or people who have an inactive screen for more than X minutes. I remember reading a lot of Japs watch on their mobil devices and don't often use adblock software over there, so you're going to see a lot more live views counted.

Mouse has been pretty strict in the past about keeping politics and other unrelated drama out of the vtuber scene, so I wouldn't really expect her to make any statements.
Also, to speculate a bit, she might not be so against the overturning of Roe vs Wade as her genmates might like. Mouse is a Puerto Rican raised in a strongly Catholic family and while she's open about not having a high opinion of religion herself (she's made allusions to being subjected to faith healing) you don't shed the cultural beliefs you were raised with so easily. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to assume she might quietly be one of the more conservative twitch vtubers, which isn't necessarily saying much given her competition, but it's something to keep in mind.
As for Zentreya; they're still on break right now and are trying to move houses, so it could be as simple as being generally offline and having actually important things to care about.

Moona had stopped all Japanese lessons, dance lessons and voice lessons due to school work being so heavy and also her co-op placement. She was taking an English class in school so she doesn't say "more better" as much anymore.
