CA dropped their 'may issue' parts of CC law right after the ruling, so did NJ. Because they knew they'd lose any inevitable lawsuits. I believe only Massachusetts is retarded enough to keep it on the books until they get sued.

There is almost a complete overlap between conservative areas and places where the majority of black people live. The racists are in coastal cities, not the southern states.

Only two opinions released today. That still leaves two for this term. The next opinion day is not announced yet.

The remaining cases are important ones, involving immigration and the environment.

Edit: They just announced tomorrow as an opinion day, probably the last of the term.

Edit 2: Breyer has announced his retirement tomorrow, which means it is indeed the last opinion day.

This argument always makes me laugh. This was proposed in the book Freakonomics (2005) that was then peddled in every university as mandatory reading in certain required classes. I remember distinctly having to read it. Although interesting. it's merely another way of looking at it. Nonetheless, after 20 years of pushing it as gospel people do indeed believe this notion that abortion means less crime is the absolute truth.

If anything it proves the efficacy of forcing a generation of people where most attend university to read and digest various materials you deem important. In an effort to shape the cultural thought on topics important to your cause (leftists). The long march through the institutions indeed.

There is a low chance it ends Chevron difference which would force a lot of machine gun cases to get relitigated (along with pretty much everything else). It would be hard to predict what actually happens.
