Might be a subjective thing. Most of the FtM's I've seen (which isn't a lot since I'm usually looking at the crazy nutjobs here, and they are mostly MtF) seem to pass pretty well. Once they achieve the facial hair and some muscle, I'd not see the difference and they'd just be a small dude to me. At least from what I see on social media. Might be a complete different thing in person.
The other way around you can see it a mile away, through all the filters and shops the internet has to offer.
But again, this might be due to my small sample size. Which I don't care to improve on.

Yeah I'd clock the person who made that video too irl in a second. And while I appreciate their critique, trans identified people who make videos like this are, otoh, kind of skeevy in a way. They strike me as "ok but I'm really really truly trans though, not like these weirdos." But I don't believe there's any such necessity for the hormone injections this woman has obviously taken. Transgender people making gender critical content are just engaged in next-level cope and looking to be seen as "one of the good/real ones."
Back before gender ideology blew up and I didn't really care about it I used to think "

And even way back then, p sure Jim's wife and St. Whomever's immediate community knew and looked the other way.

I disagree as I find many of them quite passable esp. the older ones. But the young ones make a few big mistakes that keep tripping them up and they lose their shit at anyone who points them out:
- skinniness actually exaggerates the unwanted curves...better off bulking up
- buzzcut makes whole head look MORE fem, improve passing by growing out shaggy cut with modest beard or goatee
- the backwards baseball cap is practically the religious headgear of the Cult Of Ayden
