This is a broad topic-- I'll try to list out some qualifying questions:
  • How do their social circles operate? Or is there even such a thing for them?
    • If they do operate within some social circle wherein they communicate with other prostitutes, what do they tend to think of them? Why?
    • When they have the luxury to ponder it, so they have any sentiments about camgirls? Virtual camgirls?
  • It's probably a given that they have contempt for their johns-- but what else do they think of them?
  • What do they think about non-johns? Non-prostitutes?
  • Do they tend to have pronounced political opinions, even though their work is largely outside the law? If so, what appears to be the bases for those views-- what interests or morals tend to guide their political views?
  • How engaging do they tend to be in casual conversation? Would they ever talk about their job outside of it?

When I was doing research for BP I stumbled across Stripperweb, it has posts going back to at least 2007. Maybe you’ll find some of the answers you seek there.

Mostly about stripping, lots of stuff about camming, seems most of the actual prostitution stuff is under “other work” in off topic.

My nigga in Christ, you are asking way too many questions regarding sex with women
or maybe I'm asking too many questions regarding sex with men

you ever thought of that

Really, though, this is the only question I've asked directly implicating sex itself.

You truly hate women but you want to fuck them. You're average.

Even if you're really ugly, a prostitute will be able to fuck you for the right amount.

In my limited interactions with "former" (allegedly, I don't know how likely they'd be to admit they'd still suck your dick if you waved money around) prostitutes, I personally got along with them quite well actually, although in both cases (I knew one a fair bit better because I worked with her) they were kind of more prostitutes of necessity/desperation, not high class escorts or w/e.

They were both pretty touchy feely and codependent; the one I worked with more so, and she would ask a ton of questions all the time about everything I did.
I don't know if maybe they were conditioned to interact with men a certain way so they just default to "act super impressed and encourage guys to talk about themselves" mode whenever they're interacting with/trying to appeal to one, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't sort of work.

We never really talked much about their whoring specifically, it was just a thing they told me they did. As with most women neither of you are eager to discuss them screwing other dudes.

Although the one I knew better didn't seem to get along with other women too well, none of the other female co-workers ever seemed that fond of her to the point they seemed like they could bully her a little and I was never sure why. But then again women are all horrible so it could've even been that they saw she got along with some of the guys better so they were jealous, because women will go insane if they don't get 100% of the attention at all times. As far as I knew I was the only one there who she told about her history, so.

Basically they didn't seem that different from a lot of needy chicks from rough backgrounds, but again I'm sure the dynamic is a lot different when they're dealing with males they know personally. That's the best I can do.

Superfreakonomics has a great section on an anonymous woman who goes into prostitution as an adult to make extra cash, and explores her learning the industry, pricing, trends and other good stuff. I recommend it if you can find it at a library or online as a rip or something. I have the actual hardback.

I never talked to a prostitute but strippers are basically prostitute-lite. They're just normal people, but grinding your cock for a few bucks.

I hate power leveling at all, but I dated an ex-stripper briefly when I was young. She was older than me, and pretty liberal. She didn't seem to think of her job as anything more than that, a job. This is what I had always assumed anyway, these things are pretty easily inferred.

Strippers generally seem to be very conversational, but I assume that's mostly part of the job. I only ever had one good conversation with a stripper that didn't seem fake.

I've made the same argument. Strippers are, what I call, "non-contact" prostitutes. Though it has been known for some strippers to offer sexual services too.

Irl prostitutes are some of the most pitiful people on the planet. Most of them were molested has children and have being selling themselves since they were teens. They come from broken homes the foster system or where sold into slavery. Drug abuse and mental illness is rampant among them for obvious reasons.

I've really only known/met one, I think she classed herself as a high-end escort. Shared a house with a gay guy who ran a recruitment firm - in brief, casual conversation, seemed like most of her clients were doctor, lawyers, high-end professionals.

She didn't really convey any opinion on anything, or even clarify if she was fucking these guys (she was) but she did have the air of someone with a dead, broken soul.

There was another girl I met a couple times through a buddy - I think she was more of an amateur stripper than anything - and she was just a BPD junkie.
