Not really to be honest. (Sorry jannies for double posting, this post came in after I posted) I suppose I like science & spirituality but although I wouldn’t dismiss the possibility, I can’t say I definitively believe in something unproven yet.

I find a lot of them funny/interesting, but as a lolcow myself I’m predisposed to be sympathetic as I know having a thread can be a shock. I suppose I lean more into finding people interesting because I like to understand why people behave the way they do. I find elements of CWC funny, Greer is pretty funny, Terry was interesting as fuck, dude deserved better. I think a lot of the exaggerated funny often comes from the assumption that lolcows are stupid, often we lack emotional capability and a good childhood/upbringing, and that leads to bad decisions rather than stupidity.

Correct. Those types of lolcows I don’t even think are funny, they should just be in jail. I understand the argument for having threads on them, but mostly I just read them and think that rather than being caught up in autistic e-drama, the subjects should just be in jail.

I place a lot of blame on the majority of Lolcow’s parents. Anyone who would let their kid get to the point of having a thread, doesn’t know what they’re doing at all and is irresponsible. But this mainly applies to younger cows & vulnerable ones. I don’t just blame Barb etc for what happened to CWC, I also blame systems around him that failed him. Same with other cows. In a world where there was more education about the Internet, support for the mentally ill & more systems in place to mitigate self destruction, I don’t believe he would have turned out that way. This place is just a documentation of all the ways systems fail people. I don’t know if there’s a clear person to blame so I blame all of us, but mostly parental upbringing.

I was 14 in the video, it just resurfaced years later. It was a private live stream with a friend taken wildly out of context. I suppose impulsivity.

Everyone in the tech industry has something to say about hacktivism and companies they regularly have to interact with.

This is very interesting because this person understands that they're the one that is ruining their life but due to them having lolcow brain rot, they don't want to fix themselves and don't want to get better.

Edit: to slightly power level, I have been around people with mental illnesses, some being quite severe. But even then, they still want to be functional and be able to be independent and work on themselves to reach these goals. This is what normal people do.

When comes to lolcows, they seem to be in a state that is a turtle on their back. Imagine being Elaine, and being placed into a situation where you disfigured yourself for attention. Most people would go "That was terrible. I never want to be in that situation again. I'm going to do better". But this demented creature is still doing things for attention. She posts here for attention. Eventually, she'll be back in the same spot again because she hasn't learned. Lolcows can't learn.
