To be fair, most spices grow like weeds if you let them grow in your yard. I used to grow mint and it ended up taking over the yard the year i stopped caring for my garden so i could move. My guess is he planted cilantro one year, largely (and fatly) forgot about it, and now its just sort of everywhere and Patrick is pretending it's because of his stellar care.
