I can't speak for Twitter but Reddit does. IP bans are common there. So it wouldnt't surprise me if Twitter had the same thing.

Both sites (and any non-shit social media site) absolutely use session cookie IDs for browsers and GUID/UUID analogues for their mobile apps, in addition to IPs, whatever credentials you used to create your account, etc.

His alts being banned are probably hit-or-miss depending on whatever pajeet contractor gets tasked and what limited information Twitter wants to make available to its non-badged jannies. They often do it by phone number I think. And these days any new account without a verified phone number will get your replies buried in the "show more replies" section. It's all gotten a lot harder within the last couple of years. I tried to make a twitter account about a year ago and it got flagged for something random and locked down for a while (maybe too obviously using a VPN? I don't remember, it was a while back). And I have never been banned and wasn't even trying to set up a troll account, I just use twitter for lurking.

Why is tweeterid dot com not returning any ID on any of Keffals accounts? Are they shadowbanned to hell? Jim’s account pops up an ID just fine. So does everyone else. Only Keffals accounts are being blocked from ID retrieval. It’s like twitter can’t even see them. If true, and he’s getting engagement, it’s all fake.
