That’s their algorithmic model to maximize engagement — their business model is taking these angry people and selling them things that will either soothe or bolster their anger. And it’s damn effective too. Someone like Richard Spenser can have a platform because people get mad when he tweets. Someone like Donald Trump had a platform until he was causing users to get so disproportionally angry they either logged off or just blocked him. At his peak engagement right before his ban, he probably had 4 people blocking him for every 1 follower.I wonder if this has anything to do with Twitter's business model of making people mad to keep them engaged? If Twitter is full of commies, leftists and troons, having the algorithm show them anything vaguely right wing is sure to keep them on the hook.
