In my many years of repairing computers, I've always thought of them as very effective space heaters that constantly have to throttle down due to severe overheating. In fact, I specifically remember the 8th, 9th and 10th generation of Intel i7 (and eventually i9) CPUs getting progressively worse benchmark scores as time went by, due solely to thermal throttling.
I wouldn't own one.
AMD eating their lunch the past couple years and gaining huge traction has finally gotten Intel out from their slumber. The 12th gen Intel CPUs are supposed to be really good.
Since Windows 10, Microsoft has had the bad habit of re-enabling features they feel you should have on. Many times there have been fixes for systems using registry keys and such to remove some of Windows 10's more annoying features, only to have the stuff re-enabled with the next patch cycle and the old registry key fix doesn't work anymore.
O&O ShutUp 10 works wonders: https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10
I tried O&O for a while but it kept failing and Windows disabling it and updating anyway. I've been using Kill-Update for the past couple years and it has worked well to keep Windows 10 from randomly updating and rebooting my computer in the middle of the night (me losing work because I was tired and went to bed thinking I could just pick up what I was doing in the morning and finding out it was lost because Windows had to update RIGHT NOW and reboot).
Really don't want to move to Windows 11 and heavily debating if going linux (I work on linux CLI servers at work all the time so I'm familiar with them some) or a Mac (I know trade one poison for another, but hey the hardware is nice at least) for my next laptop/system. The Steam Deck is giving me hope that I won't lose out too much on games in the future either if I do that.
20 minutes in and she's already wrong. How can her content be enjoyable but all her tier lists be so bad?
Some would say the controversy is doing exactly what she wants - drawing people in. Even if they are just there to bitch about her choices, it is viewers.
Nowhere, Even the IRL photos of Ina and Sana together they were similar in height
There's photos of them together IRL? I've seen the Ina photos and videos, but not her with Sana. Have a source or example?
At 1:24:38 Kiara talks about discovering that Gura, Fauna, unspecified "other members", and some random cashiers couldn't identify American currency.![]()
I assume that zoomers barely work with cash. They all pay by credit/debit card or using cash-apps so they dont know how change works. Its the same with Analog clocks. A large number of millenials and most zoomers can't tell the time on an analog clock, they need digital.
While most people now just use credit or debit cards, there is still cash and coins around. Very strange they wouldn't recognize them at all. It blows my mind. My kids are in elementary school and have had units on both cash/coins/making change and reading analog clocks.
Maybe they are at the age that went to school during that transition time between when most people stopped using cash and they realized they should teach kids in school about it since they barely see it anymore but should at least have a clue about it.
