Note that none of this will ever stop them, EVER, from trying to dictate just how your life should be ran outside of the hives, mind you. Remember, they're the elites, they know better than you, and if you disagree with them, since they are, by definition and identity, "good" and "smart" that means that you must, by the Negative Property of Multiplication, be "evil" and "stupid."

Middle America = Matilda
TPTB = dad

Funny thing is, TPTB think it's the reverse.

I'm going to sperg out a little about labor costs here for a minute.

I happen to know a handful of white middle class highly educated people who figured out where the wind was blowing a while ago, stopped chasing the job they were trained for in school or never even started, and moved into unskilled/semiskilled labor in order to pay off their student loans.

When I employ these people I pay their asking rate because I'm not retarded. I want the job to actually get done, it's not 1995, you tell me your rate is $50/hour I'll pay it.

But other people are balking at paying the same rates I do because they're been employing the same labor pool since 1995 and they are all retarded. When that labor pool ages out and their employers have to find someone else they are totally shocked at the cost. A lot of these people are putting off necessary maintaince, not hiring cleaners, and understaffing generally because of sticker shock.

You can see this in corporate environments as well but I think it's more interesting seeing it with small businesses because it's just one person looking at a bid and freaking out and refusing to pay - even though they know perfectly well with one side of their brain that inflation is a thing.

There is a real psychological block at work here and employers are completely willing to fuck themselves over rather than pay people.

There was a dumb boomer on my local nextdoor a few weeks back complaining about he couldn't hire a handyman with the wage he was offering. When pressed by other users to post his hourly wage instead of being transparent and honest gave everyone a dumb spiel about how he started from the bottom making $2.50 an hour, people don't want to work hard, blah blah dumb cheap business owner bullshit.

I often wonder how much of an effect gig economy jobs are having on the labor market, especially after covid. Not to P/L but due to the economy I haven't been able to get a tech job and for the past 6 months I've just said fuck it and have been doing courier work on both Doordash and Grubhub (Those bills aren't going to pay themselves) full-time. To my surprise I've been doing really good in spite of gas prices, and have been pulling in $1000-$1450 a week gross depending on how much I put into it. Sure I work more than 40 hours a week but I'd be doing that anyway working in tech and at least I don't have a boss, I'm working 100% for myself, or have to deal with other people while at the same time learning how to run my own business (Something that was seriously lacking in my education now that I look back at it).

I'm effectively making $25-$35 an hour before gas, taxes (Mileage tracking, IRA contributions and deductions help offset these), and maintenance (Mostly oil changes) pricing myself out of pretty much all part-time jobs and low to mid level corporate jobs. It seems as long as you're not some work shy Reddit /antiwork moron and live in an moderately to heavily populated area you can do just fine so why would anyone in this day and age put up with eating dirt at some low paid job?

California's view on gun rights as of late and needs to be curbstomped by a future Republican administration asap.

Gun rights group fires back at California AG's reported leak of firearm owners data: 'He should resign' (Archive)

The office of California's Attorney General Rob Bonta released the personal information of thousands of California gun owners and concealed carry permit holders to the public this week, and Second Amendment activists see it as a major breach of privacy.

Sam Paredes, executive director of Gun Owners of California, told Fox News Wednesday that the release of information was either negligent or potentially criminal.

"We believe that AG Rob Bonta is either massively incompetent, incredibly negligent, or willing to criminally leak information that he does not have the authority to leak," Paredes said.

"This is so egregious that he should resign. He has placed tens of thousands of abiding citizens in California in harms way. That is not excusable with an 'I'm sorry.'"

The Democratic attorney general, appointed by Gov. Gavin Newsom last year, announced in a press release Monday that the new portal was created to "improve transparency and information sharing for firearms-related data."

In Monday's press release, the state's DOJ claimed they sought to protect "the personal identifying information in the data the Department collects and maintains," however, large amounts of personal information on gun owners were released.

The leak was first reported by gun news outlet The Reload Tuesday, just days after the Supreme Court's consequential Second Amendment ruling.

The information, taken from the state's database of concealed carry permit holders, included the thousands of gun owners full name, date of birth, home address, race, when their concealed carry permit was issued, and what type of permit it was. The Reload reportedly found in the LA County database that around 420 reserve officers and 244 judges were also among those who had their information leaked Monday.

The information was posted in the California Department of Justice's 2022 Firearms Dashboard Portal, a website that is now "temporarily unavailable."

The California Attorney Generals Office did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment regarding the data leak. Legal action could potentially be taken against the state and those involved, as a result of the shocking breach.

A spokesperson from the AG's office told Newsweek, "We are investigating an exposure of individuals' personal information connected to the DOJ Firearms Dashboard. Any unauthorized release of personal information is unacceptable. We are working swiftly to address this situation and will provide additional information as soon as possible."

Paredes said his organization is working "to figure out what legal matters we can take, but unless the AG is willing to send people who can protect those who have had their data breached, there is not much else they can do."

The private information has since been taken down but raises major concern as the midterm elections approach.

In the primary election earlier this month, incumbent Bonta advanced to represent his party this November, alongside GOP candidate Nathan Hochman.

It is unknown whether the leak was an intentional strike or simply an accident from the California DOJ's office, after last week's SCOTUS opinion sparked major controversy across the country.

The Supreme Court decided to strike down the New York gun law that put unconstitutional restrictions on who qualified for a concealed carry permit, ultimately making it more accessible for civilians to carry a weapon for self defense.

One thing I've learned from Biden is everything is Russia's fault.

The slow leak in my tire is because of Russia.

I didn't get that job promotion because of Russia.

I like how that face pfp matches with that post.

American and European Boomers want their last moment of glory against those dirty commies, the irony given America and Europe is general more closer to the USSR at this point than Russia currently is.

We've all been there. It's Friday and you are having the time of your life with the boys, you hit a few bars, get in a fight, then hit a few more...

And when you wake up, you're lying on somebody's lawn, the sun is rising, you've got the mother of all headaches, but the worst of all?

Putin shat in your pants.

they were affecting the labor market *before* covid and it's never going back.

As an employer you are competing with a form of employment that allows total control of your time. You have to pay a premium for that. But that's rational thinking and not everyone is capable of it. People are completely certain that their special situation should be treated differently and the people they want to hire exist in a bubble just for them.

on the one hand this is super enjoyable, who doesn't like watching boomers rage out, but on the other hand my town is fucked because *people won't pay labor.* you can *see* the effects with your fucking *eyes.* Things aren't clean, verges aren't mowed, trees aren't trimmed, etc etc etc.

I am about to put three times as much down for that kind of stuff as I would have 5 years ago and the jobs are going to be sloppy and take too long because they're going to be done by lazy fucking American millenials but OH WELL I don't want to do it myself and that's how much it costs and all the Mexicans don't do that shit anymore because they worked hard and bought income producing properties - that are clean and tidy and functional cause they have relatives to work in them.

US Will Face High Gas Prices ‘as Long as It Takes,’ Biden Says

  • National average gasoline price topped $5 a gallon this month
  • President said he’ll ask Gulf allies to boost oil production

US President Joe Biden said Americans will have to stomach high gas prices “as long as it takes” to beat back Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

“As long as it takes, so Russia cannot in fact defeat Ukraine and move beyond Ukraine,” Biden told reporters Thursday in Madrid, in response to a question about how long high gas prices might persist. His comments echoes those of U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, his closest geopolitical ally and one who is facing similar pressures back home about the cost-of-living crisis.

The national average gasoline price hit a record this month above $5 a gallon, even after Biden ordered a historic release from US reserves earlier this year. Prices at the pump have been a main driver of inflation, which has been a major political headache for the Biden administration.

Biden said he’ll ask allies in the Persian Gulf region to boost oil production when he meets with them during a trip to Saudi Arabia next month, though he pointedly refrained to say he’d ask the country’s de-facto leader to directly when he meets de-facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, in person next month.

Biden’s latest comments about inflation -- which amount to telling voters that they need to brace themselves for the long haul -- are unlikely to play well.

Americans have cited inflation -- which hit a four-decade high this spring -- as their primary concern heading into November midterms. Democrats will likely lose control of Congress. That worst-case scenario will become even likelier if the US. goes into recession. Concerns about such a downturn are growing daily.

An Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll released Wednesday found that 85% of adults said the country was on the wrong track, with 79% describing the economy as “poor.”

In that same poll, 67% of Democrats deemed economic conditions as bad.

The White House has taken pains to show it is trying to solve the inflation quandary -- by tackling supply chain snarls, releasing extra barrels of oil from the strategic petroleum reserve and lifting the ban of E15 gas during the summer.

Biedn has called on Congress to suspend the federal gas tax for three months, but that proposal was met with resistance from key Democratic lawmakers.

Biden aides have tried to point to the strong labor market and low unemployment rate as the major bright spot of the economy -- and evidence of their strong stewardship of the U.S. during Covid.

    So far, that hasn’t worked.

macron literally told him that the gulf doesnt have more oil to sell lmao

More on the thread now, do you think Biden's doing this Ukraine forever war because his dementia-addled brain is mixing 'Middle East' and 'Eastern Europe' together? Because I'm declaring this the start of Middle Eastern Europe (not including the migrant crisis).
No. As the American Empire retreats, the stability brought by it recedes. As Russia and China assert themselves globally expect more destabilization.
