Who would ever go to the trouble to go to court, get a subpoena and search warrant to seize a cat or dog to obtain samples of its DNA to then compare against a specimen of animal waste to determine if it's a match, presumably because someone whined about being mailed a turd? Considering that a DMCA takedown notice is required to include valid contact information, I'm skeptical as to whether they could do anything. He basically admitted that all of the takedown notices they sent were legally deficient.

When Metallica went Woke back then a lot of people called them Sell outs and pretty much left. This did have a negative effect of sales as well as the effect of "Eh it's these guys,... who cares" reputation. They got their short term money but tarnished their long term fame.
