Today I have... Thread.

  • 🔧 Actively working on site again.
Today I got my hair done, made a few extra bucks on eBay, had a nice drive around town--minus some jackass in a truck that honked because I didn't go when someone backed into my lane--bought some lobster tails and rockfish, and about to kick it and watch some One Piece with friends.

Today is the 40th anniversary of the release of John Carpenter's The Thing. Gonna get baked and enjoy watching it tonight.

Today I became convinced that digital picture technology is a curse. Watching old star trek tng episodes- I now see just how much make up they put on the greek moderate booby chick, troi. Also with such better resolution I see that greek women have wonderful mustaches they need to constantly shave. Her upper lip is a travesty.
Also sirtis' old boobs from Cannon films are not great.

Note, the Starfleet uniform is designed to enhance various assets of the female form. This originated with Gene.

Followed on with my yard cleaning tasks by weeding the gardens of both neighbors and trimming their hedges (we have exchanged such favors in the past so it is not a slight). Did more gardening. Disposed of lots of trash.

Then went out and found a remote location of amazing beauty that is mine, all mine. And I will never spoil it with the Internet so fuck you.

And nearly got heatstroke (hyperbole) because without any cell signal, I forgot where I'd come from. I just used an actual compass and walked until I hit the actual gravel road I'd come in on, and guessed where I'd left my car. Left? Right? I have no clue. I guessed right, although I felt like I was going to keel over before I got there.

No big deal, I had about a gallon of water so nothing was going to get dangerous.

My PT said to me yesterday, "Let's do squats instead of flexes!" so I woke up this morning to my thighs saying, "Fuck you very much." I am very sore. I made fried rice, it's bare bones but is edible and filling.

About a week and a half ago I started taking a Vitamin B complex pill because I read on here a ways back that it's good for brain function, and further reading reading supported this so I decided to add it to my cornucopia of pharmaceuticals. I'm feeling... noticeably better? More clear headed. My memory is better, and retrieval is faster. The heavy sixteen hour sleeps are lighter, I find it easier to wake up and also to get to sleep in the first place. I actually went to sleep before one thirty last night. I usually can't get to sleep before four in the morning. I'll keep taking it and see what happens.

None of my blood tests has ever shown me as being deficient in B Vitamins, so all this could be a placebo, but if it is, it's a really good one.
