Let me ask you one question, do you know where you going when you die? If you are uncertain than this is the thread for you. The Bible says in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his ONLY begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVETH in him (Christ) should not perish, but have EVERLASTING life." We are all sinners and there is none that do good according to the Bible (Romans 3:10 as a reference) so how do we get saved then? Believe on Christ and what he did and that the cross was more than enough to pardon all of your sins.
To live an eternal/everlasting life right now and to forever be bound and covered by Christ's blood, all you have to do is believe what he did, that's it!
But how do you "believe" well the Bible says in Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy (your) mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE in thine (your) heart that God hath raised him (Christ) from the dead, thou (you) shalt be saved". Noticed what God said here, you WILL be saved, if you believe and confess his holy name, you are forever saved and you can NOT lose it (John 6:47 and 10:28 as references)
Noticed so far that I have not talked about being good? Because "being good" is nothing to God, we are a filthy rag in his sight by our own righteousness (Isaiah 64:6 as a reference) , but if we believe in Christ put on the new garment, we are clean in God's eyes.
A WARNING!!!! If you reject Christ and hate on him rather than love, Hell awaits, for you and everyone who spits at the face of Christ. The Bible says in Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the SECOND DEATH."
