RWBY - The Hindenburg on which Rooster Teeth rests its hopes, dreams and future

Don't tell me it's some kind of "We're all dead and on an adventure to escape the underworld because Ruby fell in the spooky void" filler arc shit, because that's probably the last thing a show with pacing this slow needs.
Hey now, RWBY needs this season long reassurance to know that they are, in fact, great and did, in fact, do nothing wrong.

The most significant part of the volume will be how the writers try to justify or backtrack on the disaster that was V8. Making the viewers sympathize with RWBY is especially important since they dumped a shit ton of citizens into a barren wasteland filled with harsh sandstorms and monsters last volume.

You see, they just didn't know enough about themselves. :(

That's exactly what it's going to be. I expected nothing and was still disappointed. Things were finally happening and now we're going to spend an entire volume fucking around in the faewilds and wangsting.

Actually, from what I’ve seen and heard the ever after is suppose to be some kind of alice in wonderland world.

I’m assuming it’s without the foundations in mathematics.

That sounds worse and something only YA retards will eat up.

Oh, who am I fucking kidd-!
Or Disney and Tim Burton fans. Or Hot Topic shoppers.

Yay, lets waste even more time. Not like one of the MANY major problems RWBY has suffered from since volume 4 was wasting fuck tons of time on absolutely nothing.

Deciding to drop your characters into some nonsensical and what will ultimately be inconsequential alice in wonderland trip right after a major story turn in the world people are (supposedly) invested in is like capping yourselves at the knees. Its just not smart.

Look who’s joining the party.

Celtic, Fatman, and some other guy are doing a live stream watching Ice Queendom. I'm not going to watch it but it might be of interest to some people here.
I really like Fatmanfalling's videos where he reviews an entire season at once, but he seems to have to have given up on making these reviews.

I know his mom slowly died over the past few years, and I have full sympathy for him over that, but I look into the comments of his latest video and I see this:

That possibly the worst advice I have ever seen someone give. Literally the least productive thing ever. FMF even liked the comment.

Let's see what he is doing with his twitter:

Great, looks like he is taking the Spoony route of internet famous people. Always nice to see a content creator you enjoyed in the past become a full-time Twittersperg.

I don't even know where the flying fuck is this fever acid trip is going anymore.

Honestly, what in the balls is even going on with this sudden world transition? It's like they just sort of given up what plot they build up over the years (for what it's worth), and just throw us into a blank state world that they just thought on the fly and expect people to lap it up.

This is the level of confusing shit that almost make Kingdom Hearts story look like an easy-to-follow narrative.

I don't mind a whole volume consisting solely of character development. I don't think I come to RWBY for the plot anyways and if some of the characters and their relationships are given an honest improvement it will make things better when the plot picks up again anyways. Giving the 4 main girls a chance to be introspective and deal with their shit outside the world isn't the worst idea, but it is going to sidetrack and slow things down considerably. Also I'm wondering how many episodes it will be before Neo gets redeemed since they're obviously going in that direction. And lastly although I don't even like Blake and Yang being together and think it's totally contradictory and pure fanservice, I just want them to come out and say it already and this time they have in this parallel world is the perfect place for them to finally talk.

That's a BIG "IF" my friend. I wouldn't hold my breath. The same people who wrote the last two shitty volumes are writing this one.

Screw that. I want them to keep cucking the Yuri fans, because, honestly, fuck them.
