You’re not wrong but no one else can push the buttons for him. No one else can spend the 20 minutes spamming Steal at the Ghost Ship to get the Underwater materia. And I haven’t played much Elden Ring myself but from what I have played grinding in that game is a completely different beast. As a person who spent like an entire summer’s worth of nights running around outside Mideel like a retard to master every materia in the game, I can tell you that doing something like that goes beyond autism and into actual endurance.

He has the autism required for doing ungodly amounts of grinding. Reminder that in order to prepare for the final challenge dungeon in Yakuza 7 he grinded the same dungeon over and over again for 2 months. However the thing he lacks...

If anyone thinks Phil will get 100% and take on the Weapons in FF7 remember he ragequit fighting Nyx Avatar on Easy. It was so pathetic that even Atlus USA commented.

When he got destroyed just once in Yakuza 7's final challenge dungeon he concluded that he'd have to grind all characters again to level 99 in another class (which is grinding the wrong way in that game btw, that's right the moron doesn't even know how to grind correctly). Not change his active party structure, not change his tactics, not going through the easy version of the challenge dungeon again to see enemy placements and how to beat every encounter. No, the only thing he had on his mind is grinding. And yeah, his active party structure was atrocious, not only did he never tailor it to the encounter that's coming up, for some reason his puritanism went so far that he only put dudes in the active party. This is a huge mistake in the challenge dungeon because even scrubs hit there for half health and the male characters don't have access to a class that is good at healing, only the women do with the Idol class (and from what I remember he didn't even put either of the girls in the Idol class). Then in the encounter that made him RQ he was fighting a big fat baseball bat motherfucker who has high health and a smol crazy doctor mage-type old coot that's a glass cannon... and of course he was focusing on the fat dude and not the old coot who kept buffing himself up until he just oneshot Ichiban.

Phil is like looking into a video game lets player time capsule, he's a caveman when it comes to so much shit (adapting to new tech, struggling with basic streaming shit, not understanding a lot of things about modern games or what goes into them etc.) it's probably one of his most peculiar characteristics about him, if you're not interested in how he weasels around his lying/begging to his dents.

His shtick is retarded, but he's "preserved" and outlasted all these other shitty streamers and people who have sold out, so why should he change? If anything it seems like he's curated this type of audience that will always watch and support Phil until the very last day he streams.

I've never understood the whole "he's outlasted a lot of people!" observation. Exactly what counts being 'dead' in this instance? Getting canceled? Only reaching X amount of views on your channel per month? I mean, he's not in good shape at all when it comes to channel activity/growth. The fact that he still makes 6 figures is thanks to 2-3 very special individuals, and there's no reason not to think that even a lot of the streamers who aren't as big as they once were don't still lowkey make fat bucks off some loyal fans the same way DSP does. Once you've been "big", you tend to pick up a cult following of dents, merely by virtue of statistics. Even if only 1 in 10,000 subscribers are whales, when you have 200K that's 20 wheelchairs footing your bills.

It's also not particularly sustainable. Why would he change? Umm, because entropy will eventually catch up to him? If my channel was once really big and dropped off a cliff over the years, I would squeeze my paypigs dry and dump practically all of it into savings fund so that when living as a virtual panhandler becomes unsustainable, I have a golden parachute to escape with. Working 3 days a week at McDonalds and living a $60K salary lifestyle for the rest of his days would be the best he could hope for if he was actually frugal.

He isn't saving shit, and is in for a rude awakening when his remaining paypigs finally get bored.

That is actually a special kind of lag. You see, it's lag that a player can somehow take advantage of, but not be affected by it himself. Not to be confused with the equally dangerous "move not coming out" bug that was the bane of DSP before online play. These idiots game devs need to stop putting in game bugs that only affect Phil wtf dood.

He does. It's really bad but it's there. His style consists of the following:
-scat jokes
-toilet humour
-insulting characters or game devs (Phil would call it a roast, I guess)
-weird reference humour (most of these jokes are stuff his retards say and he repeats it or they pay him to say it)
-calling things "robust"
-ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK -ing (involuntary)
-body humour such as, snorting, farting, coughing, throat clearing, nail biting, nose picking or burping on stream (involuntary...?)
-making a stupid fucking soy face to bait memes
-the previous point but accompanied by switching his obs scene to a close up
-somehow fucking up the obs scene change and showing a close up of his bald ass head
-acting like a jackass
-being toxic (it's just a joke you guys, it just what my character would do, hahnest)
-repeating stuff but louder
-acting like a toddler (basically doing a neener neener at keem recently, for example)
-doing offensive humour
-doing shitty offensive humour since he can't do the real one anymore out of fear of being cancelled or dumped by his retards
-saying "nigger" from time to time either by mistake or by having a slip up
