General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

It wouldn't work all that well in a live stream without some more equipment to prepare stuff in advance, but for an example of what I could do with it: If you've seen that one tier list video Selen did that degenerated into Luca concocting a suspense thriller about Nijisanji surviving on an island, I could turn it into a full on audio drama so long as everyone's got time to workshop a script they all agree with and give me their recorded lines, without needing to rely entirely on stock audio to provide sound effects and background.

I wouldn't be talking about it at all if I were actively up for consideration. If anything I would purge all mention of anything tangentially identifiable just to be sure. If one day all my posts vanish, that's the sign.

They've definitely had a lot on their plate, that's for sure. I just either want a direct rejection notification or news of the next wave(s) confirmation so I can just get on with what feels like a waiting period. I've been sitting on some changes I'd need to make in order to do streaming and if it's not happening in the immediate future, I've got other shit I'd like to get instead.

Mine was put in the last week of March. I don't really have any content with my account name tied to it, I've been on streams before but I can't really go using other people's content to prove myself, so I'm kind of entirely banking on professional history to be intriguing enough to warrant a call, and my ability to speak and perform to sell me as a candidate.
the grace period is said to be three months, if they don't get back to you within three days to a week from sending the application, you can reapply after three months.

Nolan can calm down, finally.
I feel I was one of the most reasonable people here. Someone said she was the worst in NijiEN, another compared her to VShojo, and @Sic Semper Tyrannosaurus said he unsubscribed. All I did was make an in-depth critique people agreed with and even in that I said I still like her.
My guy was found shitting up the Niji Discords about it at the exact same time he was rambling here lol. Containment cannot bind him.
Idk if 15 messages between 2 servers that took 10 min in total is "shitting up", seems hyperbolic to me.
On a side note

Finana backtracking stream lol
The comments are your standard running defense mode partly. Par-for-the-course, when I made the critical comments on Nijicords that was most of what I got, people saying "she can ban whatever she wants it's her channel". I mean, yes, I didn't say she couldn't but go off I guess. At least some of the comments are thanking her for apologizing for the mistakes which I can only presume is the whole part about sounding petty. The live chat is worse, where almost the entire chat is saying she did nothing wrong.

The fact it took 24 hrs to turn around and go "man this was a dumb thing to do" tells me she really didn't think any of this through before doing it. Along with some generally confusing things like saying she was thinking about people using it for "evil intent" but in the rant she mentioned people calling characters traps. Which tells me she wasn't clear about what she was thinking and again that she was being very reactive. Also she confirmed her feelings were because of friends who didn't like it, the feesh just seems very naive and political stupid. As someone earlier pointed out, her politics seems based on Twitter movements. But overall I'd say I liked the video, merely because she realized how she messed up and that she probably shouldn't have said anything and apologized; good on her.

Honestly the most important thing I learned is that Finana is CST. She said "it's almost 4" but Playboard says it started at 4:50 for me.

Translations of his Twitter mentioned that him and AC had creative differences and even though Anycolor tried to reach a consensus many times up until February, he didn't feel satisfied with anything, plus he felt like he'd be half-assing it, which would be disrespectful to his peers and fans. I don't know moonrunes though, so maybe @Scuttle is basing his version from the stream, where he could actually explain it better. His YT will stay up after graduation, but some of the vids may go private.
I don't think 'creative differences' is accurate but there was seemingly a misunderstanding on his part regarding what his contract entailed. The company subsequently spent months trying to bend the contract in his favour but he wasn't satisfied with any compromise.

So, rather than continue without having the heart to do so, he is graduating. No more, no less. Nyfco-posting to create issues where there isn't one is retarded.

Speculating is really what Kiwifarms is for. Without that, Kiwifarms wouldn't have found out that byuu is actually alive, and marcan is actually a liar!

What else did you notice? Unless you meant the trans supers?
She bowdlerises her swearing a lot more than she did near her debut. No one in Council has or ever had Calli's rapper mouth or Kiara's bluntness so it's a really minor thing, but it was still noticeable to me.

Rio is singing 100 songs, or more accurately a loop of 20 songs x5. He's on number 87 at almost 7 hours.

My general thoughts watching things unfold was basically "Uh oh" and "she didn't really think this through". I personally think Trap in the context of it's use in the anime community is fine and that banning it is kinda dumb and unnecessary but I understand if someone is uncomfortable with it and more power to them but the moment she tweeted what she did I could see from a mile away she fucked up her approach of the situation.

Theirs a way to do it that just annoys some people but ultimately people forget about it and theirs another where she basically just makes a giant target on herself and unnecessarily causes people to get angry. She ended up doing the latter.

I'm just looking forward to the many ways people will chat trap in her stream.

As a casual who tried to get into comic books but ultimately got overwhelmed with all the reboots/ multiverses/retcons and underwhelmed with all the woke shit that they kept peddling like that one America Chavez panel (you know the one), ignoring people who try to insert wokeshit to your hobbies doesn't always work. Sometimes you need to shout at assholes to get your point across. Lest we forget that the new warriors with heroes like "Safe Space", "Snowflake", XXXL Dora the explorer and that one jackass who got his powers thanks to "internet gas" was about to be a thing until the entire internet shouted them down and they had to begrudgingly sweep that shit under the rug. Feesh, I doubt, is malicious. Ryuguards will however agree with me when I say that she's dumb as a rock and VERY impressionable. Not really a surprise since she's a zoomer but the point is I understand why people have to put their foot down sometimes and say "No, this is dumb as fuck and you're being retarded right now. Stop it"
Fair enough, it's not advice I'd apply to everything kinda like the retarded "just ignore the bullying" they tell kids. On the internet? Sure they can't do anything. When they can actually put their hands on you though something like this quote from the The Guest (fun movie, go watch it) would be more apt advice:
David : Those kids at school, are they bigger than you?
Luke Peterson : Yeah.
David : Then bring a knife to school. If they take it off you and beat you up, you go around their houses at night and burn them down with their families inside. What's the worst they can do?
Luke Peterson : Yeah... Umm... Okay.
Don't be a sperg and take that as real advice, thanks. I'd also love to see any of the EN girls sing the ending song.
Someone like Finana who's presumably a young 22 going on 23 Minnesotan girl (so likely the Twins) from a decently well off family and fairly sheltered, saying something is probably (and based on the result is) effective. Someone more politically motivated like an Anita or a Trump will generally say something controversial and then leverage it for more attention. As a general rule of thumb I'd say sperging at a company is fine but at a single individual, and especially a woman, is likely to achieve the opposite result.

Anyways, that's enough political/optics sperging from me, watch anime girls:
Lamy and Marine playing HoloCure
Korone playing some GBA puzzle game:
Laylaa (NijiID) got a new outfit:

Wait, some of you guys have actually sent out vtuber applications to the corpos just to see how it goes?

I join into Snuffy's stream and its a gay dragon talking to a valley chick about people shitting their brains out in public toilet stalls and not washing their hands afterwards

Is this a normal Snuffy stream?
Yeah that's how Snuffy streams usually go. She's a very weird girl but is interesting to watch at times. I used to watch her when she orignally turn into the raccoon model, but kinda fell out when she went into that one bikini model with the huge booba. Felt kinda uncomfortable with that and really enjoyed her original models, but I do like her new one now. I might get back on the Snuffy saddle and see if I enjoy watching her still.
Snuffy is a little gremlin but I care for her.jpg

We've known she's been in Minnesota almost immediately after debut. 1) In one of her first streams, she rated people's submitted keyboards directly from Twitter, not parsing them ahead of time. It showed Minnesota COVID alerts in the trending locally tab. That archive was pulled almost immediately. But 2) She's Hmong, which was a major give all on its own. The Hmong are typically in only two spots in the USA - SOCal and the Minnesota Twin Cities. So the scope was already pretty narrow just by her mere existence.
