General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Aaaaaaaahahahahaha kson in vshojo
The thread reads gonna be good

Who's betting the lil angel is rushia?! Hard to say but the voice sounded a little like her
Certainly sounded like her to me as well. If vShojo wanted to make a push on the JP market, this is absolutely the route they needed to take.

Damn, and days after the first anniversary of her graduation as well. Talk about some timing
I'm guessing Kson had a non-compete clause in her contract after quitting.
Isn't Mikenecro in litigation atm? I doubt she could be scooped up as is right now, or maybe I'm missing some details of a talent termination clause.
This one is more interesting. They might not have had a non-compete clause written up for Mikeneko considering how swiftly she was terminated. That, or she managed to get it waived somehow with the ongoing stuff. I guess we'll have to wait and see if that brief line is indicative of her actual performer.

I very much doubt is mikeneko, manly because the timeliness would be to fast for her to had gone from fired to having a being hired, new model/rig/lore video done in only a couple months, even just assuming those were already in the works she has 0 cone tion vshojo other than kson and very much doubt she would decide to join a group of English speaking extrangers that are know for being lewd and crass just because kson told her too.

Do you have a source for this? I've never heard anything like this (other than /vt/ rrats) and her dad's social media does not have any jesus stuff on it as far as I've seen.
Also, for what it's worth, once during a DMC stream she was in a church ingame and she said "what's this called again? a sermon?" after taking a bit to remember the word for it.
Hmm. Is her Dad's social media riddled with NASCAR? Gura said on stream he's a massive NASCAR fan so there should be plenty of it all over his social.

Time to inhale some copium. Kson will fix Vshoujo from the inside.
God I fucking hope so. I'm not opposed to Vshojo as a concept. I just hate the majority of VTubers in it. I hope we can get back to something similar to Coco bouncing off her fellow tubas. As that was when she was at her best. But half the humour was her being american and uncouth to very Japanese anime women. So her doing that shit to other women who are already either thots, whores, or generally annoying may not work. Similar to Kson's Melody collab.

I saw an anon speculating that her non-compete agreement expired after a year.
Thank you! This is the term I was looking for. In business, so not just vtubers but anything from running a mcdonalds to a newsagent, once a franchisee or lender of license ends their contract, they're bound a non-competition agreement (which can vary from months to year*s*). I was thinking since Rushia was vaporized in such fashion, anyone at Cover spiteful enough would have made her exit even more miserable by delaying her release clause permissions.

I agree that it is generally not likely. Just sounded damn like her. The logistics are definitely possible.

On the other hand... Who the fuck is she then?

Being indie seems to be harder than she thought, honestly I expected her to do something more, but a year passed and she was just sitting in her room.
This is pretty much my take too no matter how popular you are or how much money you have having a company name next to yours will always make people give you the time of day more that to others, she was prolly frustrated with all this ideas she has but not enough connection to me them happen.

On another note I wonder how the other JP girls feel about this announcement imaging hearing yor ex-coworker/ friend it's joining an American company and you google them and learn one of the literally does porn.

Kson kind of played coy about this while on stage: "you guys know her", "I don't know her, just almost run her over lololol". She did sound remarkably Rushia-like though.

One thing is for certain: /vt/ is going to be even more of a shithole than before.

Japan probably just sucks for doing something really neat and cool as an independent. Like the outlandish projects someone like Jerma does feels impossible over there.

If that’s what the thread means then I agree with the thread, based.

Call it Hopium but I think Kson joining only make Vshojo better rather than Kson worse.
Theres a reason why no one here was really watching or following Kson much. Turns out that Coco was entertaining because of the limiters that Hololive had on her. That forced her to be creative.

Stream is resuming in 3 minutes. they keep pushing it back, wonder what's happening lol

It's possible or the fact that there was probably a 1 year no compete agreement in her contract is more likely Japanese companies always put a non compete into contracts.
