I’m alittle concerned about her soon to be homeless planning to move in with family arc. This cow is absolutely someone who would move out and leave her pets to fend for themselves and for some horrified landlord to find two weeks later. I’m sad that she put her old dog down over an ear infection but grateful the poor beast has been released from the trauma of having this fat barnacle as her owner.
I want her to because it would be very, very funneh. Especially if she interacted.

The high of living somewhere else is going to fall sharply as soon as she realizes what she signed up for. Trailers have gotten better over the years but they're still not prime living. Especially with that many cats. I assume they already fight for territory as it is.

I think this brother is the one in Florida that she tried to move her hovel into. At least her in laws were smart enough to go "oh fuck no" at the notion of taking in two low lifes and their bakers dozen of neglected animals.
What's with the fan thing? I bet there's a secondary craigslist market for cat food (and also cats eat/waste a lot- ask the pig I feed/provide creative floor painting materials to.) But there's no secondary market for shitty window fans as far as I can tell. And by now you'd think she'd fucking have enough of them.
Polissa doesn't want just any fan (because they don't cool, according to her), it has to be a $50+ fan. She's a perfect example of champagne taste on a beer budget.
Just look at the stupid shit she wants people to buy for her dog, who is definitely not a registered support animal: a vest, buttons, a stroller and more.
If they do end up moving, I wonder if she'll let those poor cats outside to shit and maybe run away to a better home.
All that time she sits around bitching and begging could be used to improve her own lifestyle. But that requires more work than the movement of her fingers. And if her dog truly had an ear infection you can buy a $12 ear cleaner with medicine in it off Amazon that clears up most infections. She's also convinced that Twitter is hiding her posts because nobody gave her money one night.
Not always, some dogs are just ear-infection prone (Labs and Lab mixes) and they're stubborn ones, but it's always worth it to *try* the ear cleaners/do some maintenance first.
But that might involve Polissa actually doing something for someone other than herself.
I’m still learning more about her but from what I’ve seen she claims a list of disabilities plus trauma from abuse and a miscarriage. Never got help for them, believes in woo shit like herbs to treat rabies and DNA repair gummies. At one point she worked enough to qualify for SSDI, but never worked longer than three years at one place. The cats are from friends that couldn’t afford to care for them or were born from the hoarded animals.
I also assume her grifting combined with her sparkling personality is why her family tries to keep her at arm's length. Her mom was nice to her (way too nice) but any other time she refers to family it's usually something like, "they can't help!"
Probably Aunt was only allowed to take so much hoard with her or something.

I've been wondering about the garden as well, she was renting that house, did the landlord even know they were going to rip up the yard? Did they have permission? Is it legal to do by the side of the street in a front yard like that where she lives? That may be why the plants ended up in those ugly pots on top of cinderblocks.
Its the utility pole literally right off the back door and the used Mason jar pack that really sells this trailer for me right now. They cant even till a yard without bitching about muh hot pockets so how are they going to fix up this dumpster fire?

She's getting a domicile that is truly worthy of her. At least she's not going to ruin a nice place. Unfortunately, she'll be out in the boonies, away from scrutiny, so she'll be able to hoard even more unfortunate animals, and there will be nobody to call Animal Control.

If she never has money to feed herself or her pets, and her husband isn't working, she's delusional to think she'll be able to afford the building materials needed to make this trash heap liveable—not pleasant, not pretty, but basic, bare-bones fit for human habitation. Habitat for Humanity stores do carry a lot of useful things, but they don't always have what you need, or the size you need it in. It took me months of regular visits to replace half a dozen old wooden windows in a fairly common size; if I'd needed them right away I would have been out of luck.
And if you have to buy building materials new, the prices have gone crazy over the last two years, and there are shortages of certain materials and components due to supply-chain issues.
On top of that, old trailers like this were built to different specs than real houses, so finding the necessary parts can be a real challenge. Sometimes, they're just not available, or at least not available at Home Depot.
Houses are black holes that suck up any money that strays too close. Janky old trailers like this? Boy howdy, the potential for drama is off the charts. Expect epic feats of beggary, far beyond anything seen so far. Tears—salty, salty tears—will flow.

That's a hoarder house, with most of the hoard cleaned out. It's nowhere near the worst I've seen, but there's a bunch of filth, undone repairs, and missing appliances that suggest the trailer was too full of her aunt's crap to either make cleaning/repairs possible, or else her aunt was too ashamed of the mess to have anybody in to make needed repairs or bring in new appliances. Given the neglected state of the yard and exterior, and the trampled, weatherbeaten trash lying on the ground, she probably had a lot of hoarded crap left outside to rot as well, and that may have kept her from having anybody in to do much-needed exterior repairs.
I can smell this trailer through the internet. But compared to what it will end up smelling like with 11 cats in residence, it's not too bad.
Looking back at the photos, it looks like both the roof and "foundation" are collapsing/buckling. I wonder how long that trailer has sat abandoned and hoarded. Trailers are cheap compared to other housing, so I feel like any total repairs would cost more than it would to just replace the whole damn thing. Is lumber still in shortage?
Regarding whether or not the landlord was okay with them tearing up the yard for a garden- These people have admitted on social media to trespassing onto their neighbor's property to grab shit, so I don't see them giving the "slum lord" a call to see if they can grow squashes.

minus the garbage this is a pretty standard 1970s white trash trailer for the area. Probably needs a lot of work. The floors rot out over time in these things. She should really complete the white trash look by dragging on old blown out storage shed to the back door and call it an addition. Also needs an old beat up car minus the wheels put up on cinder blocks right square in the middle of the front yard.
If that's their 'saving grace', I'll lay odds that the inside of their current place looks like something from 'Hoarders'. The fact that someone is willing to just give them a building, no matter how trashed, completely blows my tiny mind. Is Polissa the black sheep from an amazingly loving and supportive family who'd sacrifice anything to support their own? Or is the trailer such an albatross around their necks that they're giving it away to the first idiot willing to take it?

I understand wanting to rescue dumped animals . Humans can be really shit towards their pets and it takes other decent people to come in and help them
But you have to know your own limits and just realize when you have TOO MANY pets. In this case you could take them in for a day or two and then find a rescue or a no kill shelter to drop them off at. But you absolutely just can’t keep them all. How is this a better situation for these animals ? Yeah, she rescued them but maybe now they don’t even have food or a place to toilet that’s clean and healthy
