Got a fuck ton to catch up on as a rare lurker these days, so on the topic of Kson
I don't usually watch Coco except some streams like some meme reviews, or Kson except some gunpla building and zatsu with other "friends". I hope whatever the fuck she chose to do, she is happy. Also, who knows if her "dream" of being part of management is fulfilled in this VshitshowJP while also being a streamer?

Its like almost the same case with the Tungsten Rat, we may not like the corpo but at least we can like at least one aspect/person of it.

Either way, this is why we don't deserve happy things in this timeline.

He apologizes for taking the selfish route instead of extending his career. His heart was no longer in it. If he continued with his vtubing, he felt that will only be disrespecting all the things around him, and end up betraying himself which is terrifying for him.
What will you do after you quit?
He has no plans yet. He presumes he will continue living as an unknown character in the virtual world.

The Youtube and Twitter accounts will stay, but parts of the archive will be unlisted, and the Twitter will be privated.

I'm agreeing with the thought of Fauna's streaming voice being closer to her normal voice than anything else. Nearly a year of streaming, and there hasn't been any slip-ups/moments where we get a 'voice lapse'. Think like when Goombus cringed to death at the dancers from Luigi's Mansion 3, or Kiara's hot mic about the song promotion, or Ame calling in from bed. I just can't recall something of that kind of moment for Fauna.

If this is the path fate must take to get Season 2, so be it. That show was fucking great, and I'd love to see what story they've cooked up in the ensuing years.

The good thing is she is in her own branch of an already very loose company. She is still basically as close to an indie a corpo can get in terms of freedom and scheduling. She can be in her own world entirely and ignore VSEN if she has to. Only issue is if her genmate is Mikeneko that will be a handful to deal with.

The yabs VShojo had done before are nothingburgers compared to what she endured. Having experienced that while helping others who've been involved in yabs, she's smart enough to know what she's doing.
Compare a couple of schizos on a 4chan containment board to an actual superpower.

Just woke up to seeing the Kson news. The more and more I think about it, the less and less sense it makes. She's been doing really well recently, she's the 13th top superchat earner last month. And while I get that her rig probably costs a lot of money and that she probably wants to coast by a bit after being so creative on Hololive, why did she go to VShojo? Wouldn't she have to split her earnings with the company? And even then, the other members of VShojo are awful people. The only thing that makes sense to me is that she did it for Not-Rushia. But even then, if I was in her position, joining them is a hard sell to me.

There's a lot of backend logistics of being a streamer of that size. Merch, editors, travel planning, sponsors, and artists to name a few. There's also the weird tax situation for streamers being self-employed so they get fucked on taxes. Joining a corp fixes those problems as they take up the burden of logistics and allow the streamer more time to stream bringing in more revenue than the company itself costs to run. Vshtishow to their credit are very hands-off so kson wouldn't have to change her behavior at all and it lets menhera like rushia with a lot of slack to be crazy with and not lose their job.
