I don't think anyone is surprised though at this point. There's only so many times people can say "This is retarded" before they get bored of saying it.
At this point it feels like they are doing it specifically for a reaction, so why give them one? To be incredibly blunt, it's basically the only time I hear people talking about Ironmouse and all I hear people talking about with Calli is endless drama, so it's hardly hurting their careers doing it.
Already in this thread we have the standard "omg conor doomposting incoming!" whilst no one is doomposting and the only posts are from the people talking about how people will doompost. This has happened the last few times I've seen Conor/Ironmouse/Karen brought up in the thread. People repeatedly claim that the doomposting is coming and how everyone is SO MAD about it, but no one seems to care anymore.
Of course, there is a non-zero chance they will somehow implode but they've had less yabs in nearly 2 years of operations than either HL or NJ in the same time frame. Maybe if people huff more hopium they'll get to witness the Yellowstone of yabs from VS some time soon?
VShojo has like 6 members. Hololive has near 70 and NJ has over 100, both of which have numerous spheres of influence and areas of operation. HL's main issues have been generally from a single creator and then outside influences (Coco's Taiwan incident or Rushia just being a retard). If it wasn't Rushia (Number 2 in superchats) and Coco (Number one in superchats) would the dramas have been that big? No. NJ I've barely heard of any actual drama from apart from like the recent Vox thing (which blew over in 10 minutes).
VShojo's dramas have generally been both talent AND management related... such as allowing a doxing website to run pretending to be them, working with a guy to expose it and then turning on the guy and all of the talent coming out to talk about how they were afraid they were going to be murdered and calling out the guy publicly to cause a massive scene. Doing multiple hour long rant streams where they are crying on screen about being murdered and talking about the drama in depth whilst ordering clippers that they aren't allowed the clip the drama lol. HL doesn't even let the girls talk about Rushia to avoid drama.
HL's dramas have been big... because they're the biggest company. If one of VS's random talents mentioned Taiwan, no one would care, it wouldn't effect VS in any way because they don't even operate in China, their audience isn't Chinese. VS is so small, a lot of their dramas likely aren't even talked about. NJ's have either been nothing burgers or so small I haven't even heard of them. VShojo is a tiny company compared to either of those and yet their dramas have been big.
It's like you're comparing a charity under 21s football team that has weekly drama to an actual NFL team and going "Wow, see? The NFL team made front page news with their drama!"
She did say some time ago that she had some big plans for future content but why would need Vshojo for that? If I am not mistaken she did initially apply to cover for a management position and she helped in picking EN1 talents aswell - so... my pet rrat is that Kson wants some of those 11million vshojo raised to hire new talents and staff for Jp and turn the Vshojo jp branch into her own private agency. Or I am just high on copium and she just wants to act like a degenerate thot on twitch with her slutty new friends.
