There is a form of mental armor that develops when you’re difficult to insult. You can’t hurt her feelings by calling her peepants because she’s open about her incontinence. It’s better than being perpetually offended and weak.

More proof her parents think she’s so pants-shittingly incompetent that she needs to go home to make sure she does things like shower and not eat poisonous weeds

10:1 that her room has been left exactly as it was.
The whole "going home for 2-3 days/week" thing is so...sigh. She still thinks of it as her true home and has taken zero meaningful steps to get out in the world, the kind that help you grow and change as a person, but I'm sure of course is like "I HAVE MY OWN APARTMENT, I DO NOT LIVE AT HOME, TYVM."
It's become increasingly obvious that this "move" is for the benefit of her parents. Good for them.
ETA: The more time that goes by without pics of her chateau, the more convinced I am it's a group home or that she has a govt-arranged sped roommate

I know I sure can't picture Staph lugging her shit to the laundromat or not managing to fuck it up somehow and needing to replace most of her wardrobe. She'd probably just wear the same increasingly filthy clothing or just lounge around naked. Hell, I was moderately impressed she took the garbage out and managed to produce a reasonable looking meal, provided she was telling the truth, even though the dinner was most likely just a matter of throwing some prefab frozen stir fry into a microwave. I'm going to guess her parents probably take her on a field trip to grocery shop because otherwise she'd blow $200 on convenience food and other total crap that will only feed her for like 4 days even if supplemented with dumpster weeds. Wegman's is fuckin expensive.

So yeah her parents do think she's pants-shittingly incompetent but they're mostly right. Or they're terrified of the feral beast she will become if she was in complete social isolation 100% of the time, leaving her panic attacks from being dunked on by zoomers on Twitter for being a socially inappropriate retard the closest thing to human interaction she has. Keep in mind we're already dealing with someone who invented a harem of famous ghosts so she can pretend to have been in relationships and talks to trees.

This is really hard to follow, but I think she is misunderstanding animism. It's not a matter of ascribing soul to inanimate objects, but to ontologically view a certain subject as animate, hence the term 'other-than-human persons'. If she is implying a tree is a thing, she is wrong on animistic terms.

I hope it’s a group home, otherwise an apartment that could have gone to someone in genuine need has been given to Staph Brownpants to larp in, like some sort of adult play house. I’d have thought she would have posted pictures by now, or at least eaten some paint. She always lets us down.
