I’m just watching Gary’s reaction to the Costco stream and his little voices for the dying scooty are silly, but very funny. I agree that he and Yaba can generally take the criticism and roll with it.

Those messages sound nothing like FFG speaks. Plus she has too much of a temper to not have publicly lashed out at the time. Those messages look like what a bad writer would come up with after seeing FFG’s reaction to the Lauren Kris reaction.
And the issue with Yentas isn’t that they aren’t close (because based on what each says about the other they are very close) the issue is JS clams up and puts on a more prim and proper persona than the JS FFG is used to talking to during their endless phone calls. For instance JS has a big hangup about swearing on her channel and goes on and on about when reality suggests that if you like FFG enough to spend hours on the phone with her, you cannot be too uptight with things like swearing. Occasionally she lets her guard down and her real personality slips out which makes their friendship make more sense.
